Rudolph Dog

Hello Eunji here.Today I am making a Christmas card made using our lovely Dog Life stamp set.Let’s start!!

I started stamping the holly from our Holiday Cones (Coord. Outlines) stamp set on 4×6 size watercolor cardstock. I made the wreath shape by stamping in a circle with the holly tree image stamp. Then I colored with watercolor. After the paint dried, I stamped the flourishes using stamps from our Holiday Flourishes stamp set onto the card panel with our Blue Diamond ink and Rose Gold Bangle Pigment Ink Set. Next, I stamped the dog image from our Dog Life stamp set on watercolor paper and I drew the Rudolph antlers. Then I fussy cut the antlers.  Next I adhered the dog image onto the card panel with foam tape. I applied the glitter onto the dog. Next I stamped the sentiment from our Holiday Flourishes stamp set with our Noir ink. Lastly I added sequins from our Evening Shoot Couture Mix.

Guest Designer: Virginia Lu

Hello, there! This is Virginia Lu from Yes Virginia… Blog. I am delighted to share my projects with you her today. The stamp set “Holiday Flourish” truly is versatile. Once I start stamping, I could not stop.
When I first try out a new stamp set, I like to stamp out the possibilities. What better ways to create a one layer card? I first embossed the sentiment in gold and then stamped the designs around it.
Merry Christmas #1
My 2nd card was created with the matching dies.
Merry Christmas (with dies) #2
Let me tell ya, the added dimensions and clean cut edges are what makes the dies amazing. I applied alcohol inks to vellum (without any stamping) and arranged the stamped images and die cut in a pleasing way. I then topped it off with silver strings, ink splatter and sequins.  Done!

I also wanted to create a Christmas card with non-traditional colors. What can be more festive than neon colors?
Merry Christmas #3
I took out my neon inks and Delicata (silver) and stamped all around the border. Super simple and fun to do. I hope that my cards with “Holiday Flourish” gives you some inspiration. It’s not too late to stamp the cards for holiday yet!
