I’ve made a spring themed card. After a long Winter finally blooming Spring flowers can be seen everywhere now.  A lovely small wildflower bouquet made during a walk could embellish your table. Maybe you put the bouquet in a cute coffee cup :).

I started off by stamping the cup from Tea Party set in Hampton White pigment ink on a Toned Tan paper panel. I masked the cup and continued stamping the saucer and the floral cluster from Wildflower Bouquet Builder set.

I colored the image with Luminance colored pencils. I chose soft colors for the flowers and the cup to give the card a springlike touch. I fussy cut the right side of the image along the outline and glued the panel on a soft pink cardstock. I cut the pink cardstock again along the outline leaving a thin pink border.

The sentiment is from Hug in a Mug set. I heat embossed the sentiment on the white cardbase in Rose Gold embossing powder. I foam mounted the front panel with the image on the cardbase. To finish off I added some sequins from Summer Soiree and Coral Necklace Couture Mix.

Floral Sympathy Card

Hello everyone! Hope the month of May started off great for you all! It’s TaeEun here today with a floral sympathy card. It isn’t a good feeling when a sympathy card is needed. But as card makers we can give some handmade love and comfort to someone in sorrow.

My card for today is featuring Wildflower Bouquet Builder set from our Spring release. This set includes several cute and cheery wildflower cluster images. But I tried this time to color the flowers in warm and soft tone except for the big red flowers to match the images with the occasion.

I started off by ink blending a A2 sized white cardstock panel in Lemon Drop and Peach Blossom after masking the middle part.  I left the mask and started stamping the floral clusters from Wildflower Bouquet Builder set in Lemon Drop on the upper and lower part of the masked area.

I colored the floral images using Prismacolor colored pencils . After coloring was done I removed the mask. I then gold heat embossed the sentiment from Penned Sentiments set on the masked area.

I cut the front panel using Double Stitched Rectangle die and adhered two thin strips of Adhesive Foil paper gold on the borders between the sentiment and the colored area. I then foam mounted the panel on a kraft cardbase. To finish off I scattered some Medallion Gold sequins and little clear sequins from Coral Necklace Couture Mix and added white splatters using a white gel pen.
