Purple Wild Spray

Hi all. Vera here to start this week with inspiration on behalf of The Ton. I can’t help but playing with Wild Spray Layering Stencils again since I just love this pretty set.

To start, I inked up the stencil with Violet Fringe,  Cobalt Breeze, Deep Peony, Matcha and Meadow ink. Whenever I play with stencil, I often just use a few ink pads and just varied the pressure and amount of ink on the blender brush to get different depth of color. Once I finished, I die cut the bloom using Wild Spray Coordinating Die. Put aside. Next, I die cut the background panel using Geometric Lattice die.

Adhere the die cut panel to the card base and then arrange the flowers on top of it. Adhere with foam adhesive. Finished the card by stamping sentiment from Modern Labels set on strip of cardstock.

I don’t know about you, my purple and blue is probably one of my many favorite color combo. These colors just make me happy. I hope you enjoy today’s card and hope you take some times to get crafty this week. Wishing you all a great week. Cheers.

Wild Spray Birthday

Hi friends. Vera here today as we’re about to enter the weekend. I hope my card today can inspire you to get crafty this weekend. With the recent anniversary release, I want to showcase the Wild Spay Layering Stencils.

I really love the way my card turned out using this stencil. I started by stenciling the set a couple times as I know I want to layer them. I used Bright Emerald, Periwinkle, Meadow and Noir. Yes, it looks like I used more colors, but all I really did was just varying the pressure and the amount of color on the brushes to get the different color on each layer. I also used Copic markers on some areas where I want the darker shade to show up a bit more. Then I die cut the flowers with coordinating Wild Spray die and put aside. For the background, I stamped Peony Crush Cling Background with Arctic Sky as I want a really soft background. Trim the panel and adhere to card base.

Arrange the flowers on the card. For the sentiment I used the word Hug from Grouped Fresh Daisies set. Then, since I made a booboo, I ended up stamping the word birthday and just for you on a strip of cardstock to cover the booboo. And, forgive me, i forgot to write down the set name before I store them back.

Finish the card by adding some mix size Sea Foam Opaque rhinestones. Maybe it’s just me, but soft turquoise color with some periwinkle makes me happy. Just love this color combo.

Well, I hope you enjoy today’s card. That’s all I have for today and I wish you all a super duper fun weekend. Cheers…
