Rose Blossoms

Hi peeps. How’s are you doing this lovely December day? Vera here today. I am preparing a card package to send out to my SIL, so needing to add more birthday cards to my stash, I made this card below using Rose Blossoms Layering Stencil.

I know, we’re smack dab in the middle of the holiday season, but since I am already done with all my Christmas cards, I can’t resist playing with pretty flowers that just make me think of spring. How gorgeous is this Rose Blossoms Layering Stencil? For the flowers and leaves I used Coralline, Orchid Crush, Meadow & Hot Tourmaline. Yep, only 4 colors even though on my card it showed more than 4. That’s why I love using stencil. By using different pressure and amount of ink, I can create different hue using the same color ink pad.

Once the flower done, I covered them with shimmer marker.

Adhere the panel to card base and to finish I stamped the sentiment from Baroque Frame set with Noir ink. Trim the sentiment panel & layered with Gold Foil paper. Last but not least add some Pink Sugar Sparkling clear sequins.

Somehow I did feel a bit weird in making spring card when it’s Christmas season, but hey, when you’re in the mood of creating you just have to go with the flow, right? Wherever my mood guide me, I follow that. Well, I hope you enjoy today’s card and may your day be good one. Thanks for stopping by here.
