Hello Fabulous Shoe Wardrobe

frames shoes2

Hi everyone – today, I’m sharing a fabulous shoe wardrobe card!  Lately, I’ve been sharing a lot of florals and watercoloring so I thought I’d change it up with this fashion themed card that requires only stamping (and a tiny bit of coloring).

First, I started off by stamping five frames from our Vintage Frames set in versamark ink.  Then I heat embossed the frames with our new Rose Gold embossing powder (available for order on 5/24/2016).

Next I stamped the shelves in a deep chocolate brown dye ink which will be included in our Summer 2016 ink release (stay tuned!).  Then I stamped all the fabulous shoes on the shelves to create a picture perfect fashion print themed card.  The shoes (Shoe Wardrobe Solid, Shoe Wardrobe 2d. Ed. Solid, Shoe Wardrobe 2d. Ed. Outline) were stamped in the following inks: Noir Dye, Deep Sapphire Dye, Warm Hazelnut Dye, Caviar Hybrid (Copic Friendly), Aspen Cocoa Dye, Deep Emerald Dye, Grand Fuchsia Dye and Light Onyx Dye.

Then I stamped all the frame elements (I love that little deer head!) within the frames with our Noir and Hollywood Star Dye inks.  Next I stamped the sentiment from our Basic Labels set in our crisp Noir ink.

Lastly,  I created mirror for my center frame using our new Silver Foil Adhesive Paper (fabulous!).

There was a lot of stamping involved in this card but it was a nice departure from all the watercoloring I’ve been doing the last few weeks. Hope you all enjoyed today’s post and video!  See you next time!

Happy moments

Hello friends, Mayline here to share my lovely cards.

For the first card that I made, I used our Fresh Cut Peonies stamp set (flowers and leaves) and the Get It Girl stamp set (Sentiments). I stamped the leaves from Fresh Cut Peonies all around of card edges as a border! Doesn’t this card lookso pretty?

I also made a second card for today. Yeah~ you know I love The Ton’s Shoe Wardrobe stamps 😉 Do you wish you could be a shoe designer? I wish I could. Even though you cannot be a real shoe designer, you can design your own shoe wardrobes or shoe arrangements with The Ton Shoe Wardrobe stamps like I did for my second card 😀

I stamped several shoes from the Shoe Wardrobe 2b. Ed. Outline and then used some Zig Clean Color Real Brushes to color those shoes. For the shoes in the middle, I also used a white gel pen to draw a cute flower pattern!

For my last card for today, I created another floral card 😀 I love this card’s color combination. What do you think? I stamped the flowers from our  Mini Wild Florals set and the sentiment is, again, from our Get It Girl stamp set. I used Plumberry and Stargazer pigment inks from Mama elephant.

Another Pair

Hello, it’s Rubeena here, excited because I’ll be posting here every Wednesday for The Ton! Today’s card features Shoe Wardrobe Lined. One of my favorite crafters Kathy at The Daily Marker is starting a 30-day coloring challenge today, and I have accepted the challenge as well! I decided to get out some of my Copic markers and color in the shoes from this amazingly unique shoe set.

This is my card:

This card was not difficult but it did take me some time due to the coloring. I started with size A2 white cardstock that I die-cut using the largest die from Mama Elephant’s Peek a Frame Creative Cuts. I die cut out a smaller rectangle from the center, stamped the shoe shelves in Versamark, and heat embossed them in white. The MISTI helped me to align everything properly! This is the first time I’ve taken the tool out since I received it weeks ago and feel it’s so worth it.

I stamped different pairs of shoes over the shelves using Memento Tuxedo Black ink since it’s safe to use with Copic markers. The Copic colors used were completely random, and some of the pairs of shoes were finished off with Zig Wink of Stella Brush in Clear Glitter.

The sentiment was stamped with Versamark on the bottom middle part of the A2 layer I had cut out earlier. It was heat embossed in black. This layer was added to the card base using foam tape and the inner layer was glued without foam tape so it looks like it’s a shelf inside. I felt that it would be best not to add any other embellishments! What do you think?

Thanks for visiting! Tomorrow we’ll have our new DT member Jess share even more creativity with you, and I’ll be back next Wednesday with another card for you. Have a great day!
