Now for the cards! You’ve caught sneak peeks of these cards for the past two weeks and now I can finally show you the entire cards! Today I will feature three cards. I will be back on Friday with a couple more cards!
For my first card, I used our Fresh Cut Peonies stamp set! It comes with four peonies in different blooming stages. Each flower, stalk and leaf has 3 layers. The set comes with a vase and one scripty sentiment. This set also comes with a gorgeous color printed layering guide. No need to print your own when you receive this set!

For my first card of the Hop (finally!), I created a multi-layer, top folding card using our Fresh Cut Peonies stamp set.
I stamped the vase first in Tsukineko Brilliance Starlite Silver pigment ink. I did this to ensure that the peonies and stalks would be centered.

Next, I stamped the peonies in (1)Memento Angel Pink, Hero Arts (2) Bubble Gum and (2) Ultra Pink. The stalks and leaves were stamped in My Favorite Things Hybrid Inks (1) Sour Apple and (2) Gumdrop Green and Tsukineko’s Brilliance (2) Pearlescent Ivy pigment ink. This layering guide (which comes with your set but can also be found here if you need) will show you exactly where to stamp your layers to create perfect peonies!
I used some masking techniques on this card. I had to mask off the peony on the bottom left portion of the card so that I could stamp the stalks of the two peony bulbs in the background. To make sure I didn’t create a mess, I also had to create a mask for the vase as well because I didn’t want the stalks going off paper or mucking up the gorgeous silver pigment ink.
Then I die cut the card panel using the 2nd largest die in the Lawn Fawn’s Large Stitched Rectangles die cut set. I adhered that panel onto come light pink card stock which was then adhered onto another panel which was stamped with Hero Arts’s wood mounted Lattice background stamp (in HA Soft Granite dye ink).
Lastly, I stamped the Hello sentiment from the set in Tsukineko’s Brilliance Pearlescent Purple pigment ink. I decided to clear emboss the sentiment to give the card some extra oomph. I also added some rhinestones because no card is complete unless you add some bling!

For my next card, I used stamps from our new Panda Can’t Even set and Princess Cut Diamonds (which also comes with its own layering guide) set.

I stamped the background using the largest outline stamp from our Princess Cut Diamonds set in Delicata Golden Glitz pigment ink. While that was drying, I die cut the heart from Little B’s designer Heart stitched dies. I blended Spun Sugar, Scattered Straw and Wild Honey (in this order, going from bottom to top) onto the heart die cut. I stamped the “hey there” sentiment in black dye ink onto the bottom of the heart which I then adhered onto the background panel.

Then I stamped the two pandas on separate card stock, fussy cut them and popped them up, facing each other, with some foam squares. Then I added some pink heart confetti to add some more shine to the card.
For the finishing touch, I stamped the back of the card with our 2in x 3in Underwear Drawer stamp set with Hero Arts Ultra Pink dye ink. This set was not sneaked in the past two weeks because one sneak would’ve given the whole set away.
And now for the last card on this stop! I promise this one will be brief 🙂
My next card was created using our Friggin Fabulous set. It’s a bit more edgy. I don’t think I’ve seen any sets out there with the word Friggin in it. With this set, you can combine the separate sentiments to make some spunky phrases (You’re Friggin Fabulous, Friggin Awesome, etc).
I stamped the focal sentiment first in Tsukineko’s Neon Coral pigment ink (one of my favorite ink colors). I love the “(kind of)” sentiment because it adds a touch of sarcasm to the card but is not offensive – it’s just funny. Then I stamped the rest of the words in the set in black dye ink around the focal sentiment to create a somewhat abstract background. I love the contrasting neon and black in this card. I kept this as a one layer card with no embellishments because it’s so busy already. Lastly, I adhered the card panel onto a top folding gray card base to keep it neutral.
That is it for this stop on our Blog Hop! Hope you enjoyed this post. Make sure to leave a comment on which stamp set from our second release is your favorite. Also let us know know which one of our cards is your fave!
Your next stop on the Hop is Jess on her blog. After Jess’s blog, your last stop will be on Ruby’s blog. Leave a comment by 11:59pm EST on Friday, April 3, 2015 on each blog to qualify to win our Blog Hop Bauble Giveaway. Thanks for joining us!!
