CAS Christmas Cards

Hello everyone! It’s TaeEun here! Hope you are having a great week so far! I have seven Christmas cards to share with you today! Actually they are in a single design :). The main panel of today’s cards is featuring one of our new stamps from November Release, Folk Art Christmas Tree. But I didn’t use this stamp as a Christmas tree. I wanted to embellish my panel with the upper part of the tree which is beautifully decorated. I added three different focal elements onto the cards using Holiday Ornaments, Holly Branch, Holiday Bows and Christmas Wreath Builder.

These are the first set of three cards showing the circle Holiday Ornament as focal element.

To make this card I white heat embossed the Folk Art Christmas Tree on a light beige cardstock twice as shown in the picture. I narrowed down the panel and adhered it on a white cardbase on both sides of which I added Thin strips of transparent adhesive Glitter Paper. The circle ornament from Holiday Ornaments was gold heat embossed and fussy cut. I foam mounted the ornament and added gold thread as a string and a clear rhinestone to the bow.  The sentiment from Holiday Ornaments  was gold heat embossed  on a white banner and foam mounted onto the ornament.

On this card I stamped the Folk Art Christmas Tree in ombre red using Lipstick Red, Valentine Red and Pink Derby. The front panel was glued on a red cardbase. I added thin red glitter tape on both sides of the front panel to add some shine. The silver heat embossed ornament is hanging on a silver thread. The sentiment from Holiday Ornaments was white heat embossed on a red banner.

For the last card of the first set I used a red panel to white heat emboss the Folk Art Christmas Tree . The front panel was adhered on a white cardbase on both sides of which I added a strip of Adhesive Foil paper Gold. The ornament and the sentiment were gold heat embossed on white cardstock.

The second set has a bow from Holiday Bows and Holly Branch as focal element.

To stamp the leaves of the Holly Branch I used Soft Garden and Bright Fern to achieve an ombre look. The veins were stamped in Basil Mojito. The berries are stamped in Valentine Red and Spiced Chai and the branch in Found Topaz. I then cut the Holly Branch using Coordinating die.

For the red version I stamped the biggest Holiday Bow in Valentine Red and Spiced Chai and fussy cut it. The front panel was created like the one on the second card of the first set. I foam mounted the Holly Branch and the red Holiday Bow and added the sentiment banner onto the bow using some foam adhesive. The white heat embossed sentiment is from Holiday Ornaments. To finish off I added clear Pico embellisher on the berries.

To stamp the green Folk Art Christmas Tree in ombre green I used Soft Garden, Bright Fern and Basil Mojito. The Holiday Bow was heat embossed in gold pearl and gold embossing powder on some light beige cardstock. I added Adhesive Foil paper Gold onto top and bottom of a white cardbase and adhered the front panel on it. The Holly Branch and Holiday Bow  were foam mounted. The sentiment from Holiday Ornaments was white heat embossed on a green banner created by blending Basil Mojito on some white cardstock. I popped the banner on the bow using some foam adhesive.

On these two cards the wreath from Christmas Wreath Builder set is the focal element. The wreaths were stamped in Bright Fern and Basil Mojito. The stem layer was stamped in Smoky Quartz. The wreaths were cut using Coordinating die.

TheTon1129 set3 2 2WM

For this card I gold heat embossed the Folk Art Christmas Tree on a red panel and glued it on a white cardbase on both sides of which I added transparent adhesive Glitter Paper . I gold heat embossed the stems of the pine branch on a wreath and foam mounted it onto the card. To finish off I added small sequins from Medallion Gold sequins mix on the wreath. The sentiment banner was created like the one of the previous card.

For my last card I stamped the Folk Art Christmas Tree in green ombre like the fifth card. The sentiment was stamped in Basil Mojito. I embellished the cardbase using green glitter tape and finished off the card by adding some sequins from Glass Slippers round confetti on the wreath.

Holly Branch

Hello, everyone! Jenny here! Today, I would like to share couple of Christmas card I created using our new Holly Branch stamp set. This set is so versatile and it’s so fun to layer stamp like I did on today’s project, or you could just stamp the outline image and color with any coloring medium you’d like!

Let me show you the cards!

First, I created the main panels by stamping all the layers on kraft cardstocks. The Couture ink colors I used are: Soft Garden Dye, Bright Fern Dye, Basil Mojito Dye, Valentine Red Dye, Lipstick Red Dye, Found Topaz Dye, and Dark Roast Dye. When all the layer stamping was done, I stamped the outline image slightly off-set in Versamark and heat embossed with Gold Sparkle embossing powder. Then, I stamped the sentiment in Noir Dye ink and trimmed both panels down to 4″x5.5″.

For the first card, I embellished the vertical edges of the stamped panel with Glossy Fine Gold Glitter adhesive paper. I popped it up on a red A2 card base with fun foam. I embellished the card with gold thread and some Deck the Halls Couture Mix and the card was done!

For the 2nd card, I added light coat of Warm Hazelnut Dye ink (only on 2 corners) and splattered some gold paint over the stamped panel. I let it dry completely and heat embossed the vertical edges with gold sparkle embossing powder. I popped up the panel on a black A2 card base with fun foam. I finished the card by adding some Christmas twine and sequins from Deck the Halls Couture Mix.
