Hello everyone! It’s TaeEun here today with a sympathy card in a very soft color scheme. I used the Grouped Fresh Carnations set to stamp the soft pink flowers. Using the grouped layering stamp sets you can get all the elements you need to arrange your cluster with only a few stamping steps!
I started off by stamping the Grouped Fresh Carnations. To get a very soft look I skipped the first layer of the flowers and stems. So I stamped the second layer and the third layer of the carnations in Whisper Pink and Bubblegum and the second layer of the stems in Matcha. The stenciled flowers were cut using the coordinating one-piece die.
To create the background I first ink blended the left half of the front of a white cardbase in Whisper Pink and Bubblegum and splattered white ink. While the cardbase was dry, I cut a white panel using the A2 Quilted die and cut a window from it using a die from the Double Pierced Ornate Nested Dies. I also cut the grid using the Convention coverplate die and adhered it on the back of the window.
I foam mounted the background panel and arranged two carnations on it. The sentiment is from the Easy Expressions Sympathy set. I gold heat embossed the script part of it and stamped the other part in Noir.
To finish off I scattered a few Crystal Clear Rhinestones.
Thank you so much for looking! Hope I was able to inspire you with my card today 🙂 !
