DAILY GIVEAWAY: Our Daily Giveaway from our Fall 2015 Release week is still going on. Check out our posts from Days 1-4 for details.

For my first set of cards, I created four cards with our new Hey Foxy set.

I started off by heat embossing the foxes in gold powder.  Then I colored them in with inktense blocks.  I used extremely watered down coats of ink to create a light watercolor effect.  I found it very easy to color with my inktense blocks because once the layers dried, the layer became permanent and I didn’t have to worry about lifting color in areas where I reapplied the inktense. I found it easier to use than regular watercolors.hop1

I like the light watercolor effect!  I kept these cards clean and simple.  What do you think?

Next I created a simple set of single layer Christmas cards with our Crystal Flurries and Holiday Lyrics sets.  I heat embossed directly onto the colored card panels with metallic gold and silver embossing powders.  I adhered glitter washi tape on both sides of the top folding, horizontal card bases.  After I adhered the card panels onto the bases, I embellished the cards with silver rhinestones and enamel dots.  These cards were really easy to make and would be perfect to give away as a gift set.

Your next stop is Ruby’s blog!  Before you head on over there, leave a comment here for a chance to win three stamps sets of choice from our new release (to qualify for the giveaway, you must leave a comment on each stop of the blog hop)!

I hope you enjoyed my cards! Thank you for stopping by and enjoy the rest of the hop!

Our last set is this is mini 2×3 sentiment stamp set which comes with three mini-er icons. Don’t let the size fool you. You can create some adorable cards with this one set.

Next, we’ll move onto the cards of the Design Team to showcase our new products.

For Jess‘ first card, she created a super festive shaker card with our Crystal Flurries set and created her own mix of gilding to match her gorgeous color scheme – this mix will become available in the near future 😉

Ruby’s card is dreamy and takes you into a wintry wonderland with her use of the Crystal Flurries set.

Mayline kept her card CAS and beautiful – check out her perfectly layered flurries!  She created some amazing depth to the card.

Mayline’s masked fox from our Hey Foxy set (which debuted on Day 2 this week) is just adorable in his little fluffy snow bank!

Ruby keeps you in her dreamy wonderland with her next card.  Her Crystal Flurries are more subtle in this card but it doesn’t take away the huge impact!

Jess‘ keeps her next card super CAS but she makes sure that this one packs a dimensional punch (which is quite easy to do with our coordinating Crystal Flurry dies and those layers!). Heat embossing that last layer is just genius!

Next up is my card where I used the stamps from Crystal Flurries individually. I used clear embossing powder, white pigment ink and silver glitter embossing powder to create a snowy background.

Next up is Mayline with her DIY gem tree and mini heart confetti background! She adds more dimension by using our Holiday Bows to top off her tree and finishes off the card with the fun sentiment from our Holiday Lyrics.

Here is closeup.

Jess‘ next card showcases our Holiday Bows and Holiday Couture Mix beautifully. Doesn’t this look like a wrapped present all in itself? YES, PLEASE!

Mayline stretches her stamps with her next card by turning her bows into ornaments!

Mayline continues to stretch her stamps and creates this beautiful background with our new Holiday Bows.

d4 2

Next up is my CAS card that I created using our new Holiday Bows set.  This layout makes for a perfect masculine card!

Ruby’s last card is so fun and adorable. She created her own background using the itty bitty floral stamp from the From Ours mini set.

d4 1

I had a similar idea and created my own background with the images from our new From Ours mini set!

That’s all folks! I hope you all enjoyed the last day of our Fall 2015 release! The feedback has been so amazing and it warms all of our hearts to see such wonderful responses.

Our second set of the day is our Polka Dot cling red rubber background stamp. These are the perfect polka dots! Think KATE SPADE!

Rose Garden bg cling WATER

Rose Garden, Cling Background 6×6

Our last stamp of the day is our new Rose Garden red rubber cling background stamp.  We received such a huge response from our Peony Garden set that I just had to release a rose variation. What do you think?

Now, let’s get on with our DT inspiration cards/projects!

Ruby’s card is bright and so fun! She used all three layers in this set to create such striking, leafy background.

Mayline created a gorgeous and bright ombre leaf card. This card shows you that you don’t have to use all three layers.

This is another awesome ombre card by Mayline created by using the oak leaves from the Autumn Foliage set.

For Mayline’s next card, she created a fun border by stamping all three layers of the gingko leaf.  That warm yellow and green compliment each other so well!

Here is a close up of Mayline’s tag. It’s so fresh!

D3-card01-1Here is a another shot of Mayline’s last card.

Next, Jess used the small leaves in the Autumn Foliage set to create this card where it seems like the leaves are being blown by the wind – doesn’t this remind you of Pocahontas? Love it!

Here is a variation of the card above. The color combination just screams Fall!

leaf shaker
Here is a leaf shaker that I made for today’s release. I watercolored the background and then gold heat embossed directly onto the background with some of the second layers of the leaves in gold embossing powder.  I die cut multiple leaves to put inside the shaker. I also used our new Changing Leaves Couture mix for this card! *** If you use the Changing Leaves in a shaker, I would suggest you do a double layer of foam tape to allow the beads to move freely around.***

polka dot

Next up, I created this simple but chic pair of celebration cards.  I am somewhat obsessed with our new Polka Dot stamp set. I was searching for the perfect polk dot to no avail.  So I created my own 🙂

polka dahlia

Next, I made this card where I added a bright pink pop of color with a slight gold accent.

polka dahlia2

The card has some dimension from the popped up floral and sentiment.

polka bow
For my last polka dot card, I stayed with the black and gold theme. I heat embossed the sentiment in gold and adhered a die cut bow onto the card to create some depth.

Ruby’s next shaker card is so pretty and pink! She offset the stamped border and the inside of her card panel to create some awesome depth.
rose garden release d3

For my next card, I colored directly onto paper with several red Zig markers to create some bold contrast to the silver glitter embossing powder. Wouldn’t this card be perfect for Valentine’s day?

We hope you all enjoyed the new stamps, dies and couture mixes sneaked today!  Leave us a new comment every day this week to enter for a chance to win a stamp set of choice from our new release. There will be four separate winners for our Daily Giveaway.  You can increase your chances of winning by leaving comments on the DT members blogs (RubyJessMayline) everyday as well.

Now we have some beautiful cards made by the Design Team. Enjoy the gallery!!

Jess’ first card is so sweet with her gray fox and glitter snowbanks. We can’t get enough of the way she crafts with her foxes!  The sentiment is from a set that will be debuting on Thursday.

Mayline’s fox is just adorable with a touch of whimsy! How cute is that bowtie?  Mayline created a video on how she made this card.

Jess’ card is similarly sweet with a more a decadent touch!  These foxes are so fluffy and Jess’ use of the Pyrotechnics set is just stunning.

Ruby’s card is gorgeous with a light graphic feel.  Her shading is seriously on fleek.

Mayline’s card is bright and pretty and reminds me of beautiful stained glass.

Jess’ card is bold and pretty with her gold embossing and fully bloomed red peony.

Ruby’s next card is so pretty with the subtle touch of lace and that similarly subtle, sunny marvelous background (which was featured yesterday- you can find the post here).

Jess’ shaker card is pretty, elegant and subtle all at the same time with her colored vellum.

lg peony1 d1

Next up is my card for today’s post. I colored with zigs and created a shaded halo on the background of the card with distress inks. I also added the slight touch of gold with the embossing powder (because I simply can’t resist pink and gold).

lg peony1-2 d2

For the last card of the day, I created a CAS graphic card with two of the peonies from the Large Peony Collection.  I added lines and thickened the lines around the leaves.  I selectively shaded only the tips of the leaves with a copic marker.

All new release sets will be available for pre-order on Friday, September 4. The anticipated ship date for all preorders is September 14. All new gilding will be available on Friday, September 4.

That’s it for the day! What did you think of the sets and the DT cards for today? Leave us a comment and let us know!

Whew! Now that we gone through the new sets, here are some fabulous samples. Enjoy the gallery!

First up is Mayline! She created a beautiful floral border with our Fresh Cut Dahlias. The sentiment is from a set that will be debuting tomorrow.  Check out her blog for more details on how she created this bright and beautiful card (don’t forget to leave a comment on her blog and the other DT members’ blogs (Ruby and Jess) to increase your chance of winning today’s Release Week giveaway for the day).

Next up is Jess with her bright and peach dahlias! Her ink smooshing is totally on fleek and matches the colors of her dahlias so perfectly.  Check out her blog for more details on her projects for the day.

Next up is Ruby with her pretty pink dahlias in centerpiece vase. Doesn’t that look like a real glass vase with her beautiful shading? How gorgeous!!

For Ruby’s next card, she combined yellows and pinks to create this super fun card!  That ombre background compliments the dahlias so nicely!

dahlias release d1

Next up is my dahlia card! I chose purple shades because I usually always end up stamping pink florals so I changed it up a bit. As always, I had to include some gold (washi).

Mayline’s ombre border of peonies is so unique and fun. She uses our new Petal Cut Peonies to go around the entire border to create a striking card in bright colors!

Mayline’s next card is similarly striking as she continues to use similar colors for her die cuts.  The Petal Cut Peonies are offset with a subtle background created with our new Tiny Thank You cling background stamp.

Next is Jess with her eye-catching kraft and red card using our Petal Cut Peonies and Tiny Hello background stamp.  The color combo of this card make it a perfect masculine card!  The sentiment is from a set that will be featured tomorrow.

Next up is my card where I used the Petal Cut Peonies and Marvelous cling background stamp to create a modern graphic looking card!  I die cut several of the dies cuts and adhered them together to create my own embellishments for this card.

Next, Ruby created a gorgeous, giant balloon shaker using our new Happy Birthday background stamp. Isn’t it edgy, oh-so-girly and pretty all at the same time?

TY balloons d1

Next is my card which features the new Tiny Happy Birthday cling background stamp.  I stamped the background stamp first in pink and yellow ink and die cut balloons out of those panels.  The handwritten sentiment in the bottom right corner is from a set that will be featured tomorrow.

tiny congrats release d1

For our last card of the day, this is a gold shaker card that I made.  I stamped the Tiny Congratulations cling background stamp on a card panel in gold ink, clear heat embossed the background and then die cut each star. For the shaker part of the card, I die cut the star windows and filled the with Light Gold bugle beads and Mini Gold star confetti.

I hope you enjoyed our gallery for the first day of our Release Week! Make sure to leave a comment on this for a chance to win a stamp set of choice for our Release Week Giveaways. Leave a comment on each Design Team’s coordinating blog posts (Ruby, Jess, Mayline) to increase your chance of winning the giveaway.  Then more giveaway opportunities on Friday for our blog hop where we have 4 guests (Catherine Pooler, Virginia Lu, Laurel Beard and Laura Sterckx) joining us for our big day.

Stop by tomorrow where we’ll be introducing 4 new stamps and 3 new Couture mixes.  We have some seasonal and holiday sets to share with you this week – don’t worry, they’re not all floral 😉

Thank you all for stopping by today! We hope you’ve enjoyed the design team samples. Leave us a comment and let us know what you think of our new release so far!
