Hello everyone! Hope your week is off to a great start!
It’s TaeEun here today with a couple of holiday cards and some tags to share with you! I used Snowflake Layering Coverplate Die Bundle, Holiday Chic Tags and some new digital cut files and printables from our store. A festive poinsettia is hiding in the inside of one of the holiday cards, made using Pop-Up Poinsettia standalone dies 🙂 .
Let’s get started with my first Christmas card with the Pop-Up Poinsettia. For this card I used Mittens Buildable Cut File.

To start off I white heat embossed Christmas Sweater on a Canson watercolor paper. I cut a pair of mittens included in Mittens Buildable Cut File from the panel placing the mittens as shown in the picture. I colored the negative panel in soft green and yellow tone using Color Burst and lots of water. The mittens were colored in bold red. I cut the mittens once more from some red fun foam to raise them.

The background panel was cut using Double Stitched Rectangle die and adhered flat on a creme cardbase and I placed the red fun foam and the red mittens on it.

The sentiment is from Holiday Chic Tags set. I white heat embossed it on a scrap of kraft cardstock on which I stamped woodgrain pattern using Buildable Woodgrain in Warm Hazelnut and cut it using the small rectangle die from Holiday Chic Tags.
Before I foam mounted the sentiment I adhered a red twine connecting the mittens on the card so that it looks like the mittens are hanging underneath a shield.
I embellished the mittens with some white felt, red bow and red rhinestones.

The Pop-Up Poinsettia was cut from some red and green Vellum and arranged on the inside of the card. As the vellums are thinner than print paper it isn’t bulky at all and the surprise is guaranteed 🙂 !

To make my next card and the tags I used our new Snowflake Layering Coverplate Die Bundle.
My second card was actually made after the tags were done. As I used the silver glittery snowflakes on the tags I had the silver panel left. So I decided to make a card using it.

To start off I blended Hollywood Star on my white cardbase in ombre and adhered the second layer cut from Adhesive Glitter Paper Glossy Fine Silver using Snowflake Layering Coverplate Die on it. The first layer was cut from some Shimmery cardstock and adhered onto the card.

To match with the snowflake theme I chose a Christmas tree with the sentiment “Let it Snow” from Christmas Tree Printables. I printed it with my laser printer and foiled it in teal. I then cut it with my cutting machine (you can use the coordinating die of Christmas Tree set) and foam mounted it on some silver thread. I really like the shine and sparkle of the silver glitter paper and teal foil!

I made six tags from three die cut A2 panel cut using Snowflake Layering Coverplate Die Bundle.

I blended Hollywood Star, Plum wine, Violet Fringe, Cali Blue, Deep Sapphire and Found Topaz on a A2 sized white cardstock. I die cut the panel using first layer (larger snowflakes) of the Snowflake Layering Coverplate Die Bundle. The second layer was cut from Adhesive Glitter Paper Glossy Fine Silver as mentioned above. I cut one more A2 sized white panel using the first layer. I then cut three tags using Holiday Chic Tags dies from each A2 panel.

I cut some tags from white and light blue cardstock as the base layer of my tags. The silver glittery snowflakes were adhered on the color blended tags and the color blended snowflakes were inlaid on the white tags.

The sentiments are all from Holiday Chic Tags stamp set, some are silver heat embossed on vellum some are black heat embossed on vellum or on white cardstock. The vellum sentiments were adhered flat on the tags and the “for you” on white cardstock was fussy cut and foam mounted.
Thank you so much for visiting our blog today! Hope you could get some inspiration for your holiday cards and tags!
Hugs,
TaeEun
