Watercolor Coming Up Lilies

Hi peeps. How’s it going. Vera here and today I am sharing a card using one of my all time favorite set from The Ton, Coming Up Lilies. I am pretty sure this is one of those set that I’d keep forever, because I love lilies and this one is beautifully designed. Heads up that this post is a short one, since really there’s not that many steps in making this card.

I stamped and heat embossed the image with Rose Gold embossing powder on a watercolor cardstock panel. Watercolor the image with Karin watercolor markers, let dry and then add some splatters by tapping a wet watercolor brush. Once it all dry, trim and adhere the watercolor panel to card base. Next, I stamped and heat embossed a sentiment from Charming Cosmos set.

Adhere the sentiment strip with foam adhesive and voila… I am done. Pretty quick card. It’s simple, but I love the way this card turned out and I hope you like it, too.

Well, that’s all I have for today and I wish you all a lovely weeks. Big hugs!

Rainbow Lilies

Hi there lovely peeps. Vera here today to share a mid week inspiration on behalf of The Ton.

I don’t know about you, but I am always ready for spring flowers. So, for my card today, I decided to play with one of my all time favorite from The Ton, the beautiful Coming Up Lilies set.

To start, I inked up some alcohol ink on the edge of a ruler that’s covered with felt and then swipe it diagonally across Yupo paper. I love creating rainbow background this way. And, the good thing playing with alcohol ink, if you don’t like it, you can always add or dilute more to achieve the tone of color that you want.

Once the background done, I stamped and heat embossed the flower on it with Rose Gold embossing powder. Yupo paper is delicate. You have to keep the heat embossing gun moving, otherwise your paper will get all wavy like crazy. Trim the Yupo paper and then adhere it to the card base. For sentiment, I used the label sentiment from Regal Rose set.

Finished the card by adding some mix size dew drops. This card is surprisingly quick and easy from start to finish. I literally finish this card in less than 30 minutes. You can easily replica this card by using watercolor if you’re not into alcohol ink.

Well peeps, that’s al from me today. I hope you enjoy today’s card and may your day be filled with some rainbow of happiness. Cheers…

Lilies Love

Hi peeps. How’s it going? Vera here today bringing you mid week inspiration.

I’ve been with The Ton for quite a while and there are just some sets that are really stands out and goes to my all time favorite pile. One of them is the gorgeous Coming Up Lilies. I puffy heart this set.

Lilies is one of my favorite flower and they’re so pretty and fun to color. For my card, I stamped and colored the flower. For extra details, I added some dots using white gel pen.

Next, I die cut the word love using Tall & Skinny Alphas Coverplate from white cardstock twice and from silver glitter paper once. Layered and adhere to the panel. Next, I stamped the sentiment Thinking of You from Large Floral Peony set. Then adhere the completed panel to the card base.

Finished by adding some Pixie Pink Sparkling Clear sequins. I realized that it’s been a while since I use any sequins on my card. So, I am glad that I get to use them again.

Well peeps, that’s all from me today. Hope you enjoy today’s card. Thank you for swinging by here and big virtual hugs to you all!
