I am LOVING all the new stencils!! There is something so relaxing about blending ink onto paper using stencils!! Plus, the results are always AMAZING!! My card today features the Gleaming Poppies Layering Stencil Set.
I trimmed the panel to A2 size and backed it with black cardstock, then adhered it to a white, top-folding card base. I also die-cut the Double Pierced Rectangle A2 Coverplate Die from black cardstock and adhered the largest one to the front of the card.
Hello, crafty friends! Hope you’re having a great week so far! It’s TaeEun here today with a Thank you card. It shows one of the beautiful peony clusters from the Blended Peonies Stencils set which I watercolored using the layering stencils!
I used the stencils as my guide for watercoloring. I watercolored the peonies in light pink and orange through the first layer of the stencils, chose darker colors for the next layer and so on. I gave it time to dry between the layers. The two layers of the leaves were also watercolored in the same way in two shades of green.
After the watercoloring was done and dry I drew the outline of the peony cluster using a 08 black Micron pen and added details to the petals and leaves using a 03 Micron pen. As my watercoloring didn’t stay completely in the opening of the stencils and I drew the outline following my watercolored flowers, I couldn’t use the coordinating die. So I fussy cut the image and set it aside.
As the flowers are in a loose and rough watercolored look, I wanted the same in the background as well. So I loosely watercolored a A2 sized watercolor paper panel in yellow, green and pink, let it dry and dry embossed the panel using the Convention coverplate die. I adhered it on a white cardbase and splattered black watercolor on it. After the splatters were dry I foam mounted the peony cluster on the card.
Hi peeps. Vera here. Today, I want to showcase the new Sunflower Fields Layering Stencil. Love this fun stencil and I love it even more that I can easily make 2 cards after I completed stenciling this set.
Before adhering the sunflower panel to the card base, I inked up the card base area that’s not covered with some pattern using an old die from The Ton and use it as stencil. Then I adhere the flower panel and finish by adding sentiment from Rose Labels set.
The other sunflower panel went to the card below. Instead of white ink this time I inked up the card base with Honeydew.
I truly am enjoying playing with all the stencils right now. Hoping to get more crafting time in, so I can share more projects with you all. For now, I hope you enjoy today’s cards. Thank you for stopping by here. May your day be a good one. Cheers.
Hello and Happy Friday, everyone! It’s TaeEun here today with a holiday card! Have you seen the new layering stencils from the June 2022 Release? I used the Jumbo Poinsettia and Pine stencils from the June Release for my card. A Christmas card in June! Why not 🙂 !
To create the background I first watercolored a watercolor paper panel in light green and blue and let it dry. After the panel was dry I stenciled the Pine needles in Spring Salad and Everglade Moss on the panel and splattered gold ink on it.
The background panel was cut with a die from Rectangle A2 Nested die set and foam mounted on a navy cardbase. I then added the poinsettia to it.

There are 6 stencils in this collection measuring 9 inches x 6 inches each. There are two foliage layers, three floral layers and one final layer for the sunflower centers.
The coordinating die is a border die that will cut out the top border of the sunflower fields.
The final blended result can be layered on one half of an 8.5×11 inch piece of cardstock which can then be used in many ways in your papercrafts. You can blend the other half of the sheet to completely blend the entirety of your cardstock.

I have a card to share with you today featuring the Blended Peonies Stencil Set! This set allows you to stencil four A2 card fronts on an 8.5” x 11” piece of cardstock at one time! However, I used three of them to form a peony border on the front of my card!
I began by stenciling the Blended Peonies Stencil Set onto white cardstock. One good thing about stenciling is that it allows you to blend different colors to obtain different shades that you wouldn’t be able to get with stamping. The stencils are numbered in the order that they should be used. I blended some purples and blues on each layer with blending brushes using the following colors: layer 1: Soft Amethyst & Arctic Sky; layer 2: Iris Blooms & Periwinkle; layer 3: Violet Fringe & Stormy Sea; layer 4: Grape Crush; layer 5: Spring Salad; layer 6: Everglade Moss; peony centers: Lemon Drop. I used the Coordinating Dies to cut them all out.
I wanted a little texture on the area of the card that wasn’t covered by my floral border, so I die-cut one of the layers in the Diamond Plaid Layering Coverplate Die Set from white cardstock and adhered it to the front of a white top-folding card base. (I actually ended up covering most of this, but it does add a bit of interest to the center of the card.) I arranged and adhered the floral die cuts around the perimeter of the card and trimmed off the excess.
Hi peeps. Vera here. This week been a rough one for so many people and I keep reminding myself that we all need love in this world. And we can all start with the people around us. I feel like mailing an actual card, letter is a dying art. We really need to do it more. Sending out card just because, on our loved ones special day, on any day because more than ever we need to spread love. Show love. Share love.
I am definitely planning on getting my stash of cards out. I’ve been giving cards away to people at my church small group & will definitely keep spreading more love through my cards. May your weekend be a good one. Let us always be kind to one another. Cheers…
