Sending Birthday Wishes – Climbing Peonies Stencils

Hello, crafty friends and happy Tuesday!! I hope your week is off to a great start!!

I have a pretty pink birthday card to share with you today!!

I began by adding ink onto a panel of Bristol cardstock using the Climbing Peonies Layering Stencil Set. I used Whisper Pink, Bubblegum, Cherry, Lemon Drop and Spring Salad inks. There is a Coordinating Die available, but I don’t have it, so I fussy cut it out.

For the background, I blended the same pink inks that I used for the peonies onto a panel of Bristol smooth cardstock, with the darkest color at the bottom and the lightest at the top. I die-cut it with the A2 Quilted Coverplate Die and adhered it to a white top-folding card base. The peonies were adhered with liquid adhesive and the excess was trimmed from the edges.

The sentiment, from the Easy Expressions: Birthday Stamp Set, was stamped with Cherry and Noir inks, then cut out with the Coordinating Die. It was popped up with foam tape. Fairy Pink Sequins were the perfect finishing touch!

Thank you so much for dropping by today!! Have a wonderful week!!

Birthday card with watercolored poppies

Hello, everyone! Anna here with a card I made using Coming Up Poppies.

I started by coloring the floral image with my Holbein watercolors. I then fussy cut the poppies. For the background, I applied watercolor marker directly onto the Diagonal Stripes Cling Background stamp. Before stamping it, I sprinkled stamp with water and stamped on the watercolor paper. Next, I cut it out using Double Stitched Rectangle A2 Nested Die.

I added a piece of vellum on the stripe panel and adhered poppy image on it. The sentiment from Easy Expressions Birthday stamp set was stamped with Noir and Cali Blue and cut out with Easy Expressions Birthday Coordinating Die. I added a few rhinestones from Gold Rainbow Opaque mix to embellish my card.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great weekend!

Luminous Sunflowers Trifold Card

Hello everyone! Hope you’re enjoying the Summer (or Winter)!!! It’s TaeEun here today with a Sunflower trifold card. I used the Luminous Sunflowers Layering stencils to make this summery trifold card.

I started off by stenciling the Luminous Sunflowers on two Neenah solar white panels. I cut the panels in 5.5” x 4.5” and folded one side 0.25” away from the edge making the panel into A2 size. The ink colors I used for the flowers are Lemon Drop, Amber Citrine, Coralline Hybrid, Warm Hazelnut and Found Topaz. The leaves were stenciled in Matcha and Vineyard. On one panel I stenciled the sunflowers on lower three quarters of it and on the other one on lower two thirds.

After the stenciling was done I fussy cut the upper edge of the Luminous Sunflowers image and adhered these two side panels on a white A2 panel.

The sentiment is from the Easy Expressions set which was partially stamped in Noir and heat embossed in gold. The sentiment was cut using the coordinating die and foam mounted on the smaller side panel.

For some shine I added a few Fern Green Gems on the stenciled sunflowers. To close the trifold card I tied a green twine.

It was fun to make a trifold card! Hope I was able to inspire you with my card today!

Thank you for looking!

Blooming Shelves & Pansies

Hi all. Vera here today. I’ve been enjoying playing with The Ton latest release, that I ended up with a couple cards to share with you all. For my 1st card, I am showcasing the fun & gorgeous Blooming Shelves set.

To start, I stamped a panel of cardstock with Confetti Arches with Soft Amethyst ink pad. Adhere it to card base. Next, I stamped one of the image from the image from Blooming Shelves set and then colored it with Copic markers. Once done, die cut the piece with Blooming Shelves Coordinating Dies. Then, I simply adhere the piece to the card and voila…. I am done. I love the way this card turned out. I don’t have green thumb, so this is like the closest I can get to have shelve filled with greens. Hah!

Now, for my 2nd card, I play with the Pretty Pansies Background.

I inked up the stencil with Periwinkle, True Navy, Hollywood Star, Deep Peony, Lemon Drop and Evergreen. Trim the panel and adhere to card base. Next, I added a couple strips of colored cardstock. Finished by adding sentiment from Easy Expressions set and add glitter to the center of the flowers.

Both cards are pretty simple design wise, I pretty much just have fun playing with colors. I hope you enjoy both cards. That’s all from me today and may your day be a good one. Thank you for stopping by The Ton. 🙂

Fierce Ferns

Hello everyone! Hope your week is off to a great start! It’s TaeEun here today sharing a thank you card featuring The Fierce Ferns stamp set from the Summer 2022 Release

I started off by gold heat embossing the Fierce Ferns image on some watercolor paper. I watercolored the Fern leaves in warm green tones and added a bit of perylene violet to each leaf. After the image was dry I cut it with the coordinating die

I chose a burgundy cardbase for the Fierce Ferns which goes well with the perylene violet. I cut the Convention coverplate from the same burgundy cardstock and adhered it on the cardbase. I splattered gold ink on the card and let it dry.

After that I foam mounted the Fierce Ferns and the gold heat embossed sentiment from the Urban Jungle set.

To add more shiny gold to my card I scattered the Medallion Gold sequins as finishing touch!

Sometimes a dark cardbase helps to make the main image to stand out!

That’s it from me for today! I hope you enjoyed looking my card!
Wishing you a crafty day!

Birthday card with Fairest Peonies

Hello, everyone! Anna here with a birthday card I made using Fairest Peonies Cluster Layering Stencils.

First, I stenciled the peony cluster in purple colors. For the first layer I used Deep Peony, for the second – Pink Derby and the third layer was colored in Plum Wine. For the leaves, I used Deep Emerald. Use coordinating die to cut the image. Next, I ink blended Hot Tourmaline on the top edge of card base. Then, I made a white frame. I cut out a white panel using Quilted A2 Coverplate Die and cut the center of it with Double Pierced Rectangle A2 Nested Dies.

I stamped the sentiment from Easy Expressions Birthday stamp set with Noir (but “Happy” was gold glitter heat embossed) and cut out with Easy Expressions Birthday Coordinating Die. I added a few rhinestones from Rhinestones Mixed – Pale Yellow Opaque and Rhinestones Mixed – Emerald Green Opaque to embellish my card.

That’s all from me today. Have a great weekend!

Thank You Cards – Blooming Shelves & Urban Jungle

Hello, friends!! I hope you’re having a great week!!

I have a couple of thank you cards to share with you featuring a few products from the latest release!!

The first one combines the Blooming Shelves Stamp Set with the Confetti Arches Background Stamp

I began by stamping the images from the Blooming Shelves Stamp Set with Caviar Ink. I colored them with Copic markers, added some details with colored pencils, then cut them out with the Coordinating Dies. I added a square of mirrored silver cardstock behind the frame to create a mirror.

The sentiment, from the Urban Jungle Stamp Set, was also stamped with Caviar Ink and cut out with its Coordinating Die.

The Confetti Arches Background Stamp reminded me of wallpaper, so I stamped it onto white cardstock with Moonlight Ink. I die-cut it with the second largest die in the Rectangle A2 Nested Die Set. I also die-cut a panel of light gray cardstock with the largest die in the Double Stitched Rectangle A2 Nested Die Set.

The shelf and sentiment die-cuts we’re all popped up with foam adhesive. I finished it off with some Light Pink Rhinestones.

My second card showcases the orchid image from the Urban Jungle Stamp Set

I stamped it and the sentiment onto white cardstock with Caviar Ink. After coloring it with Copics and adding colored pencil details, I cut them out with the Coordinating Dies.

The background was die-cut from light gray cardstock with the Convention Coverplate Die. It was adhered to the front of a white, top-folding card base.

The orchid and sentiment die-cuts were adhered with foam tape. Light Pink Rhinestones were the perfect finishing touch.

Well, that’s it for me today!! Thanks so much for dropping by!! Have a great day!!

Stenciled Peonies

Hello everyone! Hope your week is off to a great start! It’s TaeEun here today with a couple of floral cards. As you know five new floral layering stencils were introduced at the Summer 2022 Release! There are three peony stencils and two pansy stencils. For today’s cards I used Climbing Peonies and Pretty Peony Close Up Layering Stencils.

First I stenciled both peony images on Neenah solar white panel in the same ink colors. Each set has three stencils for the flowers and one stencil for the leaves. I used two tones for each layer of the flowers. The first layer was stenciled in Whisper Pink and Peach Blossom. I added Bubblegum to the center of the flowers. The second layer was stenciled in Dolled Up and Peach Blossom and the third layer in Deep Peony and Coralline hybrid ink. The stamen was inked in Amber Citrine. For the leaves I used Meadow. I made the base of the leaves a bit darker by ink blending Spring Salad.

For the first card I used the Climbing Peonies image. This can be cut using the Coming Up Peonies coordinating die. I die cut it and set it aside.

To create the background I stamped the Coming Up Peonies on both sides of the white card front in Soft Ash. I ink blended the perimeter of the card in Deep Peony and splattered white watercolor on it.

Next I foam mounted the Climbing Peonies on the card. The sentiment is from the Daily Scripty Greetings set. I used the printed and foiled version of it due to a shipping issue. Of course you can heat emboss the sentiment in gold. I cut the sentiment with the coordinating die and added it with some foam tape to the card.

To finish off the card I scattered some Gold Rainbow Opaque rhinestones.

Next card is showing the Pretty Peony Close Up Layering Stencils. The image was stenciled in the same colors like the Climbing Peonies.

I cut the stenciled panel with the largest die from the Double Pierced Square Nested die set. I then cut the rhomboid frame from the center of the panel using two dies from the same die set.

I adhered the negative pieces of the stenciled panel on a 6”x 6” gray cardbase and foam mounted the frame. The gold sentiment is from the Daily Scripty Greetings set. The finishing touch for this card was the Metallic Gold Dew Drops

I love how detailed the stenciled peonies are! The achieved depth of the petals is amazing!

That’s it from me for today! Hope you enjoyed looking my cards!

Thank you for stopping by!

Peonies & Pansies

Hi all. Vera here. How are you loving this month’s release? I have so much fun playing with the new sets and today I am sharing a couple cards that I made using the new sets. First up is this card I made using Climbing Peonies Layering Stencil.

I love the way this card turned out. The colors just make me happy. I simply inked up the stencil with Orchid Crushed, Dolled Up, Deep Peony, Iris Blooms, Violet Fringe & Matcha ink. I inked up half of the flowers with the pink tone and the other half with purple tone. Once that done, I trim the panel shorter than the card base. Adhere it to the card base and add a strip of gold cardstock. Once that done, I stamped the sentiment from Large Peony 4 set. Finished by adding some Light Purple Opaque Rhinestones.

For my next card I used Bright Pansies Cluster Layering Stencils.

Here, for the flowers I used Cali Blue, Periwinkle, Violet Fringe, Lemon Drop & Matcha. Die cut with the coordinating Bright Pansies Cluster dies. For the background I used Grid A2 Coverplate Die to die cut a panel. Adhere the panel to card base and then adhere the flowers with foam adhesive. For the sentiment I die cut some alphabets to spell the word birthday using Skinny Alphas Dies set. Then I simply used the word happy from one of the old set. I completely forgot to write down the set name and by the time I write this post, I can’t remember which set it is. Part of getting old, getting forgetful. Hah!!

Well peeps, that’s all from me today. I hope you enjoy today’s cards and may your day be a good one. Cheers…
