Have A Fabulous Day – Blended Peonies

Happy Friday!! I hope you’ve had a great week!!

I have a card to share with you today featuring the Blended Peonies Stencil Set! This set allows you to stencil four A2 card fronts on an 8.5” x 11” piece of cardstock at one time! However, I used three of them to form a peony border on the front of my card!

I began by stenciling the Blended Peonies Stencil Set onto white cardstock. One good thing about stenciling is that it allows you to blend different colors to obtain different shades that you wouldn’t be able to get with stamping. The stencils are numbered in the order that they should be used. I blended some purples and blues on each layer with blending brushes using the following colors: layer 1: Soft Amethyst & Arctic Sky; layer 2: Iris Blooms & Periwinkle; layer 3: Violet Fringe & Stormy Sea; layer 4: Grape Crush; layer 5: Spring Salad; layer 6: Everglade Moss; peony centers: Lemon Drop. I used the Coordinating Dies to cut them all out.

I wanted a little texture on the area of the card that wasn’t covered by my floral border, so I die-cut one of the layers in the Diamond Plaid Layering Coverplate Die Set from white cardstock and adhered it to the front of a white top-folding card base. (I actually ended up covering most of this, but it does add a bit of interest to the center of the card.) I arranged and adhered the floral die cuts around the perimeter of the card and trimmed off the excess.

The sentiment is from the Easy Expressions Birthday Stamp Set. It was stamped with Violet Fringe and Noir inks, then cut out with the Coordinating Die. It was popped up in the center of the card with foam tape. Dark Purple Opaque Rhinestones were the perfect finishing touch!!

I really love how these beautiful blooms fill up the front of this card! It can be used for so many occasions!!

Thank you for stopping by today!! Have a wonderful weekend!!

Slimline card with Lush Peonies

Hello, everyone! Anna here with a slimline floral card I made using Lush Peonies Layering Stencils.

I started by blending Soft Orchid, Soft Amethyst and Iris Blooms inks onto the flower portions of the Lush Peonies Layering Stencil Set on white cardstock. The leaves were colored in Soft Garden and Honey Dew. I die-cut the panel with the Lush Peonies Coordinating Die. Next, I divided it into several parts for easy layering all images on the slimline card.

For the background, I ink blended Beach Blondie and Amber Citrine on the slimline white cardstock that was cut out with SLIMLINE – Simple Nested Dies. I then used SLIMLINE – Diagonal Stripes Coverplate Die to make the background panel.

For the sentiment, I cut out “Thanks” from the white cardstock that was colored using Amber Citrine and Peach Blossom inks and ordinary white cardstock with Script Word Dies Bundle. Lastly, I added a few rhinestones from Gold Rainbow Opaque mix to embellish the card.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Sending Peony Love

Hi peeps. Vera here. This week been a rough one for so many people and I keep reminding myself that we all need love in this world. And we can all start with the people around us. I feel like mailing an actual card, letter is a dying art. We really need to do it more. Sending out card just because, on our loved ones special day, on any day because more than ever we need to spread love. Show love. Share love.

For my card here, I used Peony Memories Cardmaking set. I stamped this beautiful set with Bubblegum, Soft Garnet, Deep Peony, Lemon Drop, Soft Garden, Meadow and Deep Emerald ink pad. Finished stamping, I die-cut them with the Coordinating Peony Memories Cardmaking dies. For the background, I stamped the flower from Bonny Blooms set with Bubblegum inkpad. Trim the panel and layered with gray cardstock before adhering them to the orange card base. Then arrange the peonies on the card and adhere with foam adhesive. Finished by stamping the sentiment and adhering some sequins.

I am definitely planning on getting my stash of cards out. I’ve been giving cards away to people at my church small group & will definitely keep spreading more love through my cards. May your weekend be a good one. Let us always be kind to one another. Cheers…

Blue Peonies

Hi all. Vera here. Felt like it’s been a while since I am crafting. Seriously, my crafting time been going down so much lately. Anyway, today I am playing Blended Peonies Large Stencil set again. What can I say, this is such a fun set to play with.

This time I just made a coupe cards instead of using all 4 designs that the stencil provided. Here’s my 1st card.

Come to think of it, you could actually make 8 different cards with this stencil set, simply by changing the layout from vertical to horizontal cards. My 1st set that I made with this stencil all vertical cards. This time I made these 2 into horizontal cards.

I simply inked up the stencil using Cali Blue, Parisian Blue & Azurite. For the leaves I used Soft Ash & Crystal Pewter. Once I am done stenciling, I die-cut the pieces using Blended Peonies Coordinating Dies. I also use some left over rectangle frame from previous projects that I have cut using Rectangle A2 Frames Slim Borders Coverplate Die. Then I simply layered the frame and the flowers. For the sentiment I used Hugs sentiment from Peony Laurel set.

For the next card, I repeat the same process, except this time for the sentiment I used sentiment from Toned Hearts set.

There you go, my 2 blue floral cards. I hope you enjoy today’s cards and I’ll be bac on Friday with more floral beauty. Happy Tuesday!

Have A Fabulous Birthday – Gentle Peonies

Happy Fri-YAY!! I hope you have some fun plans for the weekend!!

My best friend’s birthday was yesterday and while I gravitate toward cool tones like pinks, purples and blues, she loves warmer tones like rich oranges and reds. So I pulled out the Gentle Peonies Stencil Set and some warm ink colors to make her birthday card.

I inked up the blooms in the Gentle Peonies onto Bristol smooth cardstock with Peach Blossom, Coralline, Coral Cavern, Valentine Red, Lemon Drop and Found Topaz inks. For the leaves I used Bright Emerald and Hot Tourmaline. I die-cut the panel with largest die in the Double Stitched Square Nested Die Set.

Next, I die-cut the Square Frames Slim Borders Coverplate from teal cardstock that matched my ink. I adhered the third largest die-cut on the front of the card, then turned the eighth largest square 90 degrees and adhered it.

For the sentiment, I combined “have a” and “fabulous” from the Ribbons Affirmations Stamp Set with “birthday” from the Ribbons General Stamp Set. “Fabulous” was stamped with Bright Emerald and Hot Tourmaline inks, then cut out with the Ribbons Affirmations Die. The rest of the sentiment was stamped with Hot Tourmaline and cut into thin strips. The sentiment was popped up with foam tape and the Light Aqua Gems were a perfect match!!

I will get to see my friend next weekend!! I sure hope she likes it!!

Thanks for stopping by today!! Have a wonderful weekend!!

Hello card with Climbing Cosmos

Hello, everyone! Anna here with a project I made using Climbing Cosmos Stencils and Double Pierced Rococo Nested Dies.

I started by making the floral image. Cosmos flowers were stenciled with Whisper Pink ink, Bubblegum and Cherry ink. Leaves were colored in Meadow and Evergreen. Then, I fussy cut the beautiful bouquet.

For the background, I cut out two sand cardstock frames using Double Pierced Rococo Nested Dies. Then, I foam mounted them on a white cardstock panel and adhered the white panel on the sand cardbase. Next, I added the Cosmos bouquet to my card.

To make the sentiment, I ink blended Meadow and Evergreen on a piece of white cardstock and cut “Hello” from it using Script Word Dies Bundle. The shadow of this word was cut out from white cardstock.

To embellish the card, I added a few rhinestones from Rhinestones Mixed – Gold Rainbow Opaque.

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

Blended Peonies

Hello and Happy Friday! It’s TaeEun here today! My card for today features one of the four peony images from the Blended Peonies layering stencil set. I chose a bright color scheme to stencil the peonies – pink & violet blue and arranged the flowers on a white background!

To start I stenciled one A2 sized stencil part from the Blended Peonies layering stencil set on some white cardstock. For the peonies I used Bubblegum, Hollywood Star, Cosmopolitan Pink and Grand Fuchsia. The four layers of the stencils create peonies in two different shades. For the leaves I used Miami Cool and Italian Denim.

I stenciled the same peony image again in the same inks and cut them all using the coordinating die

To add some texture to the background I cut a white panel using a die from the Gingham Plaid Layering Coverplate die set. As the Gingham plaid is sized for a A2 card , I foam mounted it on the left top side of my white cardbase, which is 4.5” x 6.25”. It doesn’t cover the right and bottom edge of the card but that parts would be covered by the flowers.

Next I arranged the peonies on the card. First I added a cluster with two peonies on the bottom right corner using thin foam tape. Then I mounted two peony clusters on the top right and bottom left corners using thick foam tape.

The sentiment is from the Ribbons Affirmations set. I stamped it in Crystal Pewter and Noir and cut it with the coordinating die. I ink blended a piece of white cardstock in Italian Denim and white heat embossed “YOU ARE” from the same stamp set on it. I foam mounted the sentiments and finished off the card with some Blue Black Opaque Rhinestones

That’s it from me for today! Hope you enjoyed looking my card!

Wishing you all a lovely weekend!

Cheers – At Our Age, We Need Glasses

Hey there, crafty friends!! I hope you’re having a great week!!

I LOVE a punny sentiment, so when I saw the “at our age, we need glasses” sentiment in the Wine and Spirits Stamp Set, I knew I had to make a card with it!! So true!!

I began by stamping the cocktail glasses and sentiment in the Wine and Spirits Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Caviar Ink. After coloring them with Copic markers and adding highlights with a white gel pen, I cut them out with the Coordinating Dies.

I wanted it to look like the glasses were sitting on a bar, so I stamped the Buildable Woodgrain Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Found Topaz, Aspen Cocoa and Dark Roast inks. I embossed the background onto a panel of white cardstock by running the Convention Coverplate Die through my die-cutting machine with an embossing pad. I chose some ink colors to match my cocktails…Cosmopolitan Pink, Lemon Drop and Soft Garden. I swiped some ink on my work surface, diluted them with water and splattered them onto the background panel with a paint brush. Once it was dry, the woodgrain stamped panel was adhered to it. The glasses and sentiment were added with foam tape.

Next, I die-cut the Script Cheers Die from black glitter cardstock once and heavyweight white cardstock two times. They were stacked and adhered together, then added to the front of the card, trimming off the excess from each side.

That’s it for me today!! Thanks for stopping by and have a great week!!

Gentle Peonies

Hello and Happy Friday ! It’s TaeEun here today sharing a peony card with you! I made a soft floral background using the Gentle Peonies Layering stencil set and added the huge Script sentiment to it!

I started by stenciling the Gentle Peonies. In this set there are four stencils for the peony flowers. After stenciling using four tones of inks you get some dark colored flowers and some bright ones. I used Whisper Pink, Rose Quartz, Bubblegum and Dolled Up to stencil the peonies in pink. For a soft look I chose Soft Cream and Warm Hazelnut to stencil the leaves.

After done with stenciling I cut the 6” x 6” panel using the largest die from the Double Pierced Rectangle A2 Nested Die set and adhered it on a white cardbase.

As I wanted some white area in the background, I cut two white frames using the Double Pierced Ornate Nested Die set and foam mounted them on the card.

Next I ink blended a white cardstock in Bubblegum and Dolled Up to create a pink ombre panel and cut the Script Hugs sentiment from it. I layered it with two more die cut sentiments and heat embossed it in Iridescent Sparkle embossing powder.

I added the sparkling sentiment to the card and finished it off with a few Crystal Clear Rhinestones

That’s it from me for today! Hope you enjoyed looking my card!

Wishing you all a lovely weekend!

The Best Presents Come With a Wedge of Lime

Hello, crafty friends and happy Thursday!! Brenda here with you today!! I’m sharing a fun card that would be perfect for many occasions!! I plan to give it to my best friend for her birthday next month!! Cosmo, anyone?!? I guess it could also be a margarita in a cosmopolitan glass!

I began by concocting my cosmo! I die-cut the back layer of one of the Drink Dies from white cardstock and the outline layer with silver metallic cardstock. I inked the solid layer with Cosmopolitan Pink and Hollywood Star inks. Next, I die-cut the smallest circle in the Circle Nested Dies for my lime. I inked it up with Bright Fern and Soft Garden inks and added detail with a white gel pen. I adhered it to the back layer of my cosmo die-cut and added the metallic layer on top, then added some chunky glitter to the rim.

I thought it would be fun to mimic the shape of the lime with the background, so I die-cut the Geometric Circles Coverplate Die from white cardstock. An A2 panel of Bristol cardstock was inked with Soft Garden and Bright Fern ink and the coverplate die-cut was adhered over it.

The sentiment, from the Wine and Spirits Stamp Set, was stamped in Cosmopolitan Ink and cut out with the Coordinating Die. The glass was adhered to the front of the card and the sentiment was added with a bit of foam tape. Lots of Pink Opaque Rhinestones add plenty of bling!!

I really love how this turned out and I hope my friend does too!!

Thanks so much for dropping by!! Have a great day!! Cheers!!
