Hello, fellow crafters!! I hope your week is going well!!
I have a birthday card to share today featuring the stunning Darling Dahlia Layering Stencil!! These huge blooms make is so easy to create beautiful card for any occasion!! I found an image online of a lovely dahlia in shades of peach and pink, so I tried to replicate it.

I began by blending the Darling Dahlia Layering Stencil Set onto white cardstock with Peach Blossom, Bubblegum, Cosmopolitan Pink and Pink Derby inks. I used the Coordinating Die to cut it out. The Dahlia Leaves Stencil was inked with Soft Garden and Bright Fern inks, then cut out with their Coordinating Die.

For the background, I die-cut one of the layers from the Diamond Plaid Layering Coverplate Dies from white cardstock and layered it over a panel of blush cardstock. The dahlia and leaves were adhered with liquid glue.

The sentiment, from the Coming Up Peruvian Lilies Stamp Set, was stamped with Noir ink, cut out with the Coordinating Die, then popped up with foam adhesive. A sprinkling of Pale Yellow Opaque Gems finish off the card.

Thanks so much for dropping by today!! Have a wonderful weekend!!
Dear Brenda – Oh, my!! This took my breath away! I’m going to be placing an order very soon. This is GORGEOUS!
