Hi friends. Vera here today. Mother’s Day coming up soon, I figure I better get going and get my Mother’s Day card done. For this, I am creating with the recently released Coming Up Peruvian Lilies. It’s a gorgeous flower and a fun one to color as well.
I stamped the flowers with Caviar ink pad and colored it with Copic markers. Die cut the image with Coming Up Peruvian Lilies Coordinating Die. For the background I wanted something subtle and am using Magnolia Field Cling Background stamped with Ballet Slippers ink.
Trim the panel and adhere the lilies with foam adhesive to the panel. Trim any excess part and adhere the panel to card base. Finished by adding sentiment that come with the lilies set.
I love the contract between the subtle background and the bold colors of the flowers. What do you think of this lilies? I have to say I don’t know much of this lilies as I am still very green in my gardening skills. I actually checked out Pinterest to see what real Peruvian lilies looks like. Considering lilies is one of my favorite flower breed, I am not surprise that this one is just as gorgeous as other lilies.
That’s all I have for today. I hope you enjoy today’s inspiration and I wish you all a wonderful weekend. Till next time.
Beautiful!
