Hello everyone!  It’s TaeEun here today with a watercolored floral card! I no line watercolored the gorgeous iris image from the Belated Iris stamp set for today’s card.

To start I stamped the Belated Iris in Soft Cream ink on a watercolor paper panel and colored the iris in a mix of purple, red and pink. I worked in several layers and added details to the petals.  I also drew some leaves behind the Belated Iris image.

After I was done with the watercoloring I cut the Belated Iris using the Jumbo Iris coordinating die and cut the rest of the panel with the Quilted A2 coverplate die. I attached the negative panel with the Quilted pattern flat on a white cardbase and foam mounted the watercolored iris onto its place.

The sentiment is from the Coming Up Iris stamp set. I stamped it directly on the background in Noir and finished off the card with a few Glass Slippers sequins.
