I have a birthday card to share with you today featuring the Daisy Duet Layering Stencil Set!!
I began by stenciling the Daisy Duet Layering Stencil Set. I used a combination of Vanilla Frosted Cupcake, Lemon Drop, Amber Citrine, Found Topaz, Hollywood Star, Deep Peony, Cosmopolitan Pink and Wine inks for the petals. I used Aspen Cocoa for the centers of the flowers and Evergreen for the leaves. Once all of the layers were added, I used the Coordinating Die to cut out the daisies. I added some stamen to the centers of the flowers with a yellow gel pen.
The background was die-cut from yellow cardstock using the Foliage Border Coverplate Die. It was adhered to a panel of yellow cardstock for a tone-on-tone effect. The daisies were adhered to the background with liquid glue.
The sentiment, from the Easy Expression Birthday Stamp Set, was stamped with Cosmopolitan Pink and Noir inks, then cut out with the Coordinating Die. It was popped up with foam adhesive. A generous sprinkling of Pale Orange Opaque Rhinestones finish off the card.
