Happy Monday, friends!! I have a pair of stenciled iris cards to share with you today!! You know that I love coloring, but sometimes it’s nice to just let the ink and stencils do the work!!
My first card is a belated birthday card featuring the Jumbo Iris Layering Stencil Set…

I stenciled the layers of the iris with Soft Cream, Vanilla Frosted Cupcake, Beach Blondie, Soft Orchid, Orchid Crush, Grand Fuchsia and Plum Wine inks. Evergreen and Everglade Moss inks were used for the stem. I used the Coordinating Die to cut it out.

The Speckled Background Stamp was stamped onto white cardstock with Orchid Crush ink and the panel was die-cut with a Scalloped A2 Nested Die and adhered to a panel of orchid colored cardstock which was die-cut with the largest Double Stitched Rectangle A2 Nested Die.

The sentiment, from the Coming Up Iris Stamp Set, was stamped onto white cardstock with Plum Wine ink and cut out with the Coordinating Die. The iris and sentiment were both popped up with foam tape. I added some Pale Yellow Opaque Gems for the finishing touch!!

My second card features the Climbing Iris Layering Stencil Set…

This one was stenciled with Soft Orchid, Soft Amethyst, Iris Blooms, Violet Fringe and Grape Crush, with Spring Salad used for the stems and leaves. The sentiment is also from this set. It was stamped onto white cardstock with Violet Fringe ink. Both the iris and sentiment were die-cut with the Coordinating Die.

The top two layers of the Gingham Plaid Layering Coverplate Dies were cut from white cardstock and adhered to a white card base. The irises and sentiment were adhered with foam tape.

A sprinkling of Dark Purple Opaque Gems finishes this one off!!

That’s it for me today!! Have a wonderful week!!
