Blooming Shelves

Hi everyone. How’s it going? Vera here. Today, am showcasing Blooming Shelves set. I love this set. Maybe because I feel like it has a modern feel to it & partly because the plants on this set are the kind of plants that I’ve been trying to grow in my backyard. Not very successful I might add. Hah!

Anyhoo…. to start, I stamped the image and sentiment with Caviar ink pad and then colored it with Copic marker. Die cut the image with Blooming Shelves Coordinating dies. Then, I die cut a blank piece of white cardstock a couple more times with the same die to layer it with the colored one. I want to have thickness without using foam adhesive. Before adhering the colored piece to the card base, I stamped some leaves from Urban Jungle set directly on the card base with Matcha ink pad.

I feel like this add a little bit of interest to the background without making it too busy or compete with the main image. Adhere the colored image to the card base.

Finished by adding some Bright Green Opaque Rhinestones. I love the way this card turn out and I hope you do, too. That’s all from me today. May the rest of your week goes smoothly. Cheers.
