Hello and Happy Friday, everyone! It’s TaeEun here today with a holiday card! Have you seen the new layering stencils from the June 2022 Release? I used the Jumbo Poinsettia and Pine stencils from the June Release for my card. A Christmas card in June!  Why not 🙂 ! 

I stenciled the Jumbo Poinsettia in blue and purple. This set has three layers of stencils. I ink blended the first layer in Soft Amethyst and Cali Blue, the second layer in Iris Blooms and Azurite and the third layer in Grape Crush and Deep Sapphire. 

The center of the poinsettia was stenciled in Spring Salad and Everglade Moss. I cut the poinsettia using the coordinating die and set it aside.

To create the background I first watercolored a watercolor paper panel in light green and blue and let it dry. After the panel was dry I stenciled the Pine needles in Spring Salad and Everglade Moss on the panel and splattered gold ink on it. 

The background panel was cut with a die from Rectangle A2 Nested die set and foam mounted on a navy cardbase. I then added the poinsettia to it. 

The gold heat embossed sentiment is from the Styled Christmas Sentiments set. I cut it using the coordinating die and added it to the card. 

To add more golden elements I scattered some Bright Gold Opaque Rhinestones to finish off the card.
