Sending Hugs – Sunflowers

Hello, friends!! I hope you’re all doing well!!

I know the heartbreak and turmoil in Ukraine is weighing heavily on all of us. I thought I would break out the Sunflower Border Cling Stamp in support of the people of Ukraine.

I began by gold heat embossing the Sunflower Border Cling Stamp onto Bristol smooth cardstock. I watercolored it with Karin Brushmarker Pro markers, then splattered it with clean water and diluted metallic gold paint. I die-cut the panel with the second largest die in the Rectangle A2 Nested Die Set and adhered it to a white top-folding card base.

For the sentiment, I used the Many Sentiments Die. I cut the top layer from white cardstock three times and the bottom layer from pearlescent gold cardstock. I stacked and adhered them together, then added them to the center of the background panel.
I added a sprinkling of Soft Gold Rhinestone Gems for a little sparkle and I was finished.
