Lush Peonies

Hello and Happy TWOsday, everyone! It’s TaeEun here today with a 6” x 6” floral card featuring Lush Peonies Layering stencil set and the large Script Love die

To show the full beauty of the Lush Peonies I made a card in the size of the stencil set.

To start I stenciled the Lush Peonies on a Neenah solar white cardstock panel. I stenciled two-toned flowers; in pink and orange. For the first layer I used Bubblegum and Peach Blossom, for the second layer Dolled Up and Coralline Hybrid and for the third layer Deep Peony. The leaves were first stenciled in Crystal Pewter and Matcha. The detail layer of the leaves was stenciled in Periwinkle

After the stenciling was done I colored the background in black using a Copic marker. For some dimension and interest I cut the stenciled panel four times using the Double Pierced Square dies in various sizes while rotating it in an angle of 45° every time.

I foam mounted the outermost piece on a black cardbase and adhered the next one flat on the card. The third piece was foam mounted again and the smallest piece was added flat to the card.

The sentiment was cut once from silver glitter paper which I made by attaching the Glossy Fine Silver Adhesive Glitter Paper on white cardstock, and two times from some white cardstock. I layered them all and added the die cut sentiment to the card. I white heat embossed the “sending you” from Poppy Smiles set on  a piece of black cardstock and adhered it on the die cut “love”.

I finished off the card with a few Dark Gray Gem Rhinestones.

That’s it from me ! Hope you enjoyed looking my card today!

Thank you so much for stopping by!

All this gorgeousness, and you ‘dotted the i’ with grey – stunning, TaeEun!!
Was it that Copic 110 Special Black? I don’t think it has ever come out to play – but should!
This Poppy should come to play at my house, too – don’t you think?? xx
