Hi peeps. Happy Tuesday. Vera here today with more Christmas card to share. I actually hasn’t been able to craft much nowadays as my work schedule been so crazy that when I got home I just don’t have the energy to craft. But, I do feel the need to craft as this is my way to de-stress. So, this weekend, I really put aside time to just sit down and create. And, it felt good.

I decided o play with Poinsettia Bouquet and I am pretty happy with the way this card turned out.

To start, I stamped the image with Caviar ink pad and then colored it with Copic markers. I just love coloring Poinsettia in teal hues. Also, I have quite a bit of green markers that somehow I don’t use as often and I finally decided to show these markers some love and using them here to get some variation of green so the image don’t look so flat.

Once I am done with the coloring, I decided to add some more details with white gel pens as I feel it makes the Poinsettia more fun. Then I picked one of the sentiment from Merry Folk Sentiment and stamped it directly over the image using Caviar ink. And, since it is a Christmas card I just have to add some glimmer with shimmer marker on the sentiment as when it comes to Christmas card it just more fun to have some shimmer right?

I hope you can see the pretty shimmer on the sentiment. In person it really shimmer prettily as I layered the shimmer pretty thick. I hope you enjoy today’s card.
