Hello crafty friends! Hope your week is off to a great start! It’s TaeEun here today with a holiday card featuring Jolly Border stamp set. The delicate poinsettia border is so gorgeous and could be used as a festive frame for your holiday sentiment! You can create a quick, yet festive holiday card with this one stamp set!
To start off I ink blended a navy cardstock in Grape Crush, Italian Denim and True Navy making it darker towards the top. After ink blending I stamped the Jolly Border on it in Hampton White pigment ink and colored the border using Polychromos colored pencils. I left the stamp in my MISTI and stamped it again in an embossing ink after coloring. I then gold heat embossed the image.
To cut the Jolly Border I used the coordinating die of the Wonderland Print set which matches perfectly with the Jolly Border!

I white heat embossed the sentiment from the same stamp set on the middle panel and cut the outer piece using the Quilted A2 die to add some texture to the background.
I adhered the center piece and the outer piece on a navy cardstock and added the Jolly Border using foam tape. To finish off I added a few Medallion Gold sequins.
Thank you so much for stopping by today! I hope you enjoyed looking my card 🙂 !
Have a wonderful week!

Gorgeous, TaeEun! The Royals would use these gorgeous colors at Christmas I’d bet! Your idea of restamping after coloring to add gold embossing is wonderful!
