Hello, crafty friends!! Happy Thursday!! I have a couple of cards to share today featuring a couple of the Cosmos stamp sets from the latest release!!

The first one features the Charming Cosmos Stamp Set…

I chose to use the layering stamps in the Charming Cosmos Stamp Set, although there is an outline stamp to stamp along with the layering or you can stamp the outline and color it with your medium of choice. I layered Soft Orchid, Orchid Crush, Grand Fuchsia and Beach Blondie onto the Cosmos and Meadow for the sprigs, then cut them out with the Coordinating Dies.

The greeting, also from Charming Cosmos, was stamped onto white cardstock with Grand Fuchsia Ink, then cut out with a die from the Scalloped A2 Nested Die Set. I die-cut the top layer of the Diamond Plate Layering Coverplate Dies from white cardstock and layered it over a white card base. The flowers and greenery were adhered flat and the scalloped rectangle was popped up with foam tape. I liked the way the cosmos hung off the edge of the card, so I left them and I’ll just place it in a larger envelope to mail.

My next card showcases the Cosmos Border Cling Background…

I white heat embossed the Cosmos Border Cling Background onto Bristol cardstock and watercolored it with Karin Brushmarker Pro markers. I die-cut it with the largest die in the Rectangle A2 Nested Dies and adhered it to a white, top-folding card base.

The sentiment is from the Charming Cosmos Stamp Set. It was stamped onto vellum with Noir Ink and Versamark, then clear heat embossed. I used the same die from the Scalloped A2 Nested Dies to cut it out and adhered it to the center of the watercolored panel, adding adhesive only behind the letters.

That’s it!! Two totally different looks!! Which is your favorite? Do you prefer coloring or layering stamps?
Thanks so much for dropping by today!! Have a great day!!
