Hello, crafty friends and happy Monday!!

I have a thinking of you card to share with you today featuring images from the Dove Friends Stamp Set, along with a few others.

I began by stamping the bird and branch from Dove Friends and the frame in the Baroque Frame Stamp Set onto white cardstock with Caviar Ink. After coloring the images with Copic markers, I fussy cut the bird (there are Coordinating Dies available), then cut out the frame with its Coordinating Dies.

The background was die-cut from white cardstock using the Quilted A2 Coverplate Die, then layered over a panel of red cardstock. The Copic colored images were popped up onto the background with foam tape.

The sentiment, from Easy Expressions Sympathy, was stamped onto white cardstock with Noir and Cherry inks and cut out with the Coordinating Die. It was popped up with even more foam tape. I added a little shine and accent to the bird’s eye with a black glaze pen and white gel pen.

I really love the combination of the bird with the ornate frame!!
