Hi all. Happy Monday. Vera here to start this week with a floral inspiration on behalf of The Ton. I just realized that I haven’t played with the gorgeous Heartfelt Blossoms set and of course, I just have to create something with it.

To start, I stamped the bouquet on a piece of watercolor cardstock and heat embossed it with rose gold embossing powder. Then I watercolor the image with Karin markers. Let dry and then die cut the image with Heartfelt Blossoms Coordinating Die.

Next, I work on the background. I used the middle dies from Gingham Plaid Layering Coverplate set. Adhere the cut out to the card base and then then cut out flower piece on top of it. Stamped and heat embossed the sentiment and adhere with foam adhesive. Finish by adding some enamel drops.

I’ve been getting into gardening lately and I guess that new hobby has inspired me in making this card. Every week, I eagerly waiting to see which plants will have blooms and every time I see new bloom I get so excited. Quite a few of them are thriving and I feel like I pass that excitement to this card. I hope you enjoy this card as much as I enjoy making it.
