Hi there crafty peeps. Happy Fri-yay!! Vera here today. Hope your week been going good. I am definitely ready for the weekend. Some of my girlfriends been getting me into gardening and I am slowly, cautiously trying it out as I don’t normally has much luck with growing plants. Meanwhile, while my small garden started, I can always day dream with The Ton floral sets.
I love, love, love the new Peony Print Layering Stencils. They’re just so pretty & fun to play with.
The stencils are so easy to use. I simply used them on a piece of white cardstock. For this card, I run the panel through the die cut machine. Lave everything together. Don’t pop out the cut piece. Keeping the pieces intact helps with the ink blending, keeping the delicate pieces in place. I started by doing the flower layers and continue to the leaves layers. For the large flowers, I used Soft Amethyst & Iris Blooms. For the small flowers I use Orchid Crush & Grand Fucshia. For the leaves I used Matcha & Meadow.
Once I am done with all the ink blending, then I removed the cut out pieces. Adhere them to the card base. For the sentiment I used Jumbo Sentiments. Stamped and heat embossed the word Love on a piece of vellum, die cut with the coordinating dies and adhere to card base.
Finished by stamping and die cutting the word you, also from Jumbo Sentiments set. I just love the soft coloring of this card. Just typing this post and looking at this card, makes me want to play with this set again. Yep, that’s how much I love this set. Stay tune! I do share more of my works on Instagram, so if you’re incline to do so, you can follow me HERE.
Well peeps, that’s all from me today. I wish you all a great weekend and hope you get to do whatever brings you joy. Have a great day everyone.
This is just gorgeous Vera!!
