Gladiola Cheers & Palm Layering

Hi all and welcome to the last week of April. Can you believe it? Time flies, isn’t it and I sure am enjoying the beautiful spring weather as this wouldn’t last long on my neck of the wood. And, of course, I love all the spring flowers. With this in mind, for today’s project I am showcasing the pretty Gladiola Cheer set.

To start with, I stamped, colored and die cut the flower image. Adhere the flower to the card base and add a strip of patterned paper. Next, stamp and heat emboss the sentiment from Grouped Fresh Carnations. As usual, I love adding mixed size dew drops to my embellish my card.

I actually ended up with two cards today as a while back I finished a card that I never got to share, yet. For my second card, I am showcasing Palm Layering Stencil.

This palm stencil set is what I considered as one of those surprise set. I didn’t expect to love this set as much as I end up to be. I used the new green ink pads to do all the layering. Honeydew, Matcha, Meadow and Evergreen. Love, love, love the new green ink pads. I guess this set just reminds me so much of my hometown. Where I grew up, I could see palm trees on our front yard and this sure brings back memories.

Finish with layering all the colors, I die cut the plan using the coordinating dies. For the sentiment, I die cut the word hello from Script Word Dies Bundle. I also added some sequins to finish the card.

There you go. One bold color card and one soft color. Do you have preference? Well, I hope you enjoy today’s cards. That’s all from me today and may your week starts off wonderfully peeps. Cheers…
