Sending Roses Love

Hi all. Vera here. Happy Wednesday. Since we’ve been dealing with cold weather, I figure we are all looking forwardto beautiful spring weather, thus the inspiration for my card today.

I sure do love playing with layered dies, especially when they’re gorgeous like this Radiant Roses Layering dies. I start by making the background using Grid A2 Coverplate die. I carefully remove it from the die cut plate (this way most of the cutout squares are still intact and I don’t have to put each single one back). Add adhesive to the whole card base and adhere the grid panel.

Next, die cut all the roses pieces from watercolor cardstock and watercolored each layer darker to create depth.

Next, I put all the pieces together.

Next, I work on the sentiment. I die cut the word love using Skinny Alphas Coverplate die. Colored it with Copic since I don’t have dark gray cardstock. Adhere to card. Then, I stamped the word sending from Dream Peony and add it to the card to finish it.

Well peeps, that’s all from me today. Hope this card help brightens your day. Stay warm and I wish you all a beautiful day. Cheers.
