Hi all. Vera here today bringing you some more last minute Christmas card ideas. I have to say this year, I really get into making Christmas cards more than ever. Maybe because of the time I have on my hand or maybe because of the facts that there are many fun products on my stash that really help me get in the mood.
For this card, I used an older set, called Christmas Sweater. I taped several felt square to the side of a thick cardboard and put some alcohol ink drops and then swipe them on a piece of Yupo paper. This is probably one of my favorite way to create rainbow background with alcohol ink.
Next, I stamped and heat embossed the Christmas Sweater on the panel. Trim the panel and adhere to card base. Next, I die cut the word Christmas using Many Sentiments (Holiday) Coverplate dies on a piece of metallic cardstock. Adhere to card base. To finish, I stamped & heat embossed the word Merry from Winter Foliage set.
There, a rainbow colored Christmas card. I know, not your typical Christmas color, but I figure everyone loves rainbow, so why not. Well peeps, that’s all from me today. Hope you enjoy today’s card. And, from our house to yours, I wish you all a very merry Christmas. Thank you for all your support for The Ton and here’s to a brighter 2021. Cheers….
The rainbow alcohol panel is so pretty, and pairs beautifully with the white embossed designs.
