The Season

Hi peeps! Vera here today. I really been on a roll of making Christmas cards lately. Nothing like last minute efforts to create a pile of them, right?

For today’s card, I am showcasing the pretty Poinsettia Wishes set. To start with, I stamped the poinsettia using Rose Quartz, Soft Garnet and Hollywood Star. For the leaves I used Soft Garden & Deep Emerald. Die cut with the coordinating Poinsettia Wishes die.

Next, I used Pine Sprig Cover die on a green cardstock. I love using this set as filler. At first, I was going to adhere the flowers directly to the card base, but I feel like it’s not quite right. So, I decided to add a scallop panel using one of the frame from the Scalloped A2 Nested die. Adhere this to the card base, then arrange the flowers, leaves & sprig on top.

Oh yes, almost forgot. Lately when I am working with flower image, I love adding some shimmer using metallic watercolor. I think they just add some fun effect to the card. To finish the card, I added sentiment from Easy Expression Holiday set & add some enamel drops. Below, you could really see the pretty shimmer on this card.
