Hi all. Vera here bringing you a fun project on behalf of The Ton on this Thanksgiving day.
Let’s get on with the project shall we.
For today’s card, I am playing with my favorite birdie set, the Chickadee Greeting set. I stamped the bird using Vanilla Frosted, Crystal Pewter and Smoky Quartz. I also added additional shade using Copic marker. Put the bird aside.
Next, I die cut the scallop panel using the largest scallop frame from Scalloped A2 nested dies. Adhere panel to card. Then I die cut Pine Sprig cover die. Before separating the sprig I ink blended Soft Garden and Bright Fern. At fist, I was going to just do the sprig, but then I saw that I have leftover Berry Branches that I have stamped for previous project. So, I trimmed the berries, basically cutting it apart and arrange it behind the bird.
For the sentiment I die cut the word Christmas from Many Sentiments Holiday cover die from teal cardstock. Then I stamped the word Merry from one of the sentiment from Winter Foliage set.
Finished by adding some enamel drops. I hope you enjoy today’s holiday card inspiration.
Anyway, that’s all from me today. My husband and I are keeping it safe this year and staying in our bubble. So, no special plan for today. As much as it sadden us that there’s no family gathering for us this year, we’re hoping by keeping it safe, we can celebrate many more Thanksgiving with our family in the future.
Well peeps, however you plan to spend your Thanksgiving, I wish you all a very happy & blessed Thanksgiving. Big virtual hugs!
Lovely card! Expresses Christmas without the glitter and sparkle. I enjoy this type of Christmas greetings the best!
