Poppy Smiles Thank You

Hello, fellow stampers and card makers!! I hope your Thursday is off to a great start!!

I have a card to share with you using the new Poppy Smiles stamp set!! I couldn’t wait to color this one!! I have a friend who LOVES poppies and I owe her a thank you card, so I already know where this one is going!!

I began by stamping the floral cluster from Poppy Smiles onto white cardstock with Vanilla Frosted Cupcake Ink for some no-line coloring. After coloring the image with Copics, I added some stamen with a yellow gel pen.

I die-cut the panel with the second largest die in the Scalloped Nested A2 Dies, then cut a panel of red cardstock with the largest die in the same set. I layered the scalloped panels onto an A2 size cardbase. For the sentiment, I stamped the Easy Expressions Thanks set onto white cardstock using Red Sangria and Noir inks, then die-cut them with the Coordinating Die. The die-cut sentiment was popped up with foam tape and I added some Dew Drop Clear Enamel Dots for a little shine!
