Flower Bouquets

Hi all. Vera here bringing you a couple inspiration using The Ton newest sets that were released just a few days ago.

I was so pleased that I was able to use all 3 new floral sets for my cards today.

For both of my cards today, the sets I used are:
– Stamp: Grouped Fresh Peonies, Grouped Fresh Dahlias and Grouped Fresh Sunflowers
– Coordinating dies: Grouped Fresh Peonies, Grouped Fresh Dahlias and Grouped Fresh Sunflowers

I started by die-cutting the background using Slimline Grid Coverplate and trim it to fit inside my standard size card of 4.25 x 5.5″. Once that done, I stamped and die cut all the flowers. The dahlias were stamped using Peony collection, the peonies were stamped using Amethyst collection and finally the sunflowers were stamped using Vanilla Frosted Cupcake, Lemon Drop & Amber Citrine. Whoops, almost forgot, the leaves were stamped using Soft Garden & Deep Emerald.

Arrange all the flowers and adhere to the card base. Sentiment is from Easy Expression Birthday. At the end I decided to add a bit more sparkle, so I added some metallic watercolor to the the deepest shadow of the flowers and leaves.

The great things of playing with these sets, you’ll end up with enough flowers to make 2-3 cards, depends on your flower arrangement.

For this card, I used one of the rectangle frame from Rectangle A2 Frames Slim Borders Coverplate. I adhere the frame to the card and then arrange the leftover flowers from the 1st card to make this card. For the sentiment I stamped and heat embossed sentiment from Wildflower Bits.

There you go, 2 cards that hopefully showcase the beauty and versatility of the recently release floral sets. That’s all from me today. Hope you enjoy today’s cards and may your week starts off wonderfully.

Cheers…
