Rose Slimline Thank You Card

Hello, fellow crafters!! Brenda here with you today sharing a rose slimline thank you card!!

I am slowly working my way through all of the newest slimline dies!! Aren’t they amazing? My favorite way to use any background die is tone-on-tone, particularly white. It just adds enough texture, while allowing the other elements to take center stage.

I began by stamping the Regal Rose and Summer Rose layering stamp sets with the following inks: Ballet Slippers, Hollywood Star, Cosmopolitan Pink, Soft Amethyst, Iris Blooms, Grape Crush, Soft Garden and Bright Fern. I cut them out with the Regal Rose and Summer Rose Coordinating Dies. I wanted to include some yellow, so I stamped the Wildflower Bits stamp set with Lemon Drop, Amber Citrine, Coralline and Bright Fern Inks, then cut them out with the Wildflower Bits Coordinating Die.

I die-cut the background with the Slimline Grid Coverplate Die from white cardstock and adhered it to a white slimline cardbase. I played around with the arrangement of the florals and adhered them once I had them arranged the way that I wanted them.

For the sentiment, I used the Script Word Dies. I die-cut the top layer from purple glitter paper once and heavyweight white cardstock three times and layered them together. The shadow layer was cut from vellum. A few Dew Drop Clear Enamel Dots were the finishing touch!!

Thanks so much for spending a bit of your day with me!! Enjoy the rest of your week!!
