Pumpkins

Hello crafty friends! Hope your week is off to a great start! It’s TaeEun here today sharing a couple of pumpkin cards πŸ™‚ ! I used all the pumpkin themed grouped layering stamps which were released on the Fall 2020 Release Day 1.

The first card is showing all four pumpkin stamp sets: Ella Pumpkins, Round Pumpkins, Butternut Squash and Thankful Gourds.

Before I started making cards I stamped all the pumpkins and cut them using the coordinating dies.

The ink colors I used are listed below.

Round and Ella Pumpkins: Vanilla Frosted Cupcake, Beach Blondie and Amber Citrine for the lightest pumpkins / Amber Citrine, Peach Blossom and Coralline hybrid for the middle shaded pumpkins / Peach Blossom, Coralline hybrid and Coral Cavern for the darkest pumpkins

Butternut Squash: Vanilla Frosted Cupcake, Warm Hazelnut and Found Topaz

Thankful Gourds: Soft Garden, Bright Fern, Warm Hazelnut and Found Topaz

I cut the two layers from Diamond Plaid Layering Coverplate dies from a creme and a white cardstock and layered them on a kraft cardbase. I then arranged the pumpkins and leaves along with some bits from Rose Labels stamp set on the background as shown in the picture.

The sentiment is from Easy Expressions: Thanks set. I heat embossed the parts of the sentiment in white and Liquid Platinum and cut it using the coordinating die. I finish off the card with some Medallion Gold sequins.

For the next card I used the darkest Ella Pumpkin and the Thankful Gourds.

I decorated the pumpkin cluster with some flowers from Floral Bits stamp set. The yellow flowers were stamped in Lemon Drop, Amber Citrine and Coralline hybrid ink.

To add some texture I dry embossed the front of a creme cardbase using the Double Pierced Oval Coverplate die. I also cut a frame using the Double Pierced Oval Nested Dies and foam mounted it on the cardbase. I then added the pumpkin cluster and the gold heat embossed sentiment from the Thankful Gourds set on it. I finished off this card with some clear Dew Drops.

Oh TaeEun! These colors are SO fantastic! Autumn means pumpkins, and squash for sure! There is a guy at our Farmers Market that sells his by the bag for $5! As many varieties as you’d like!
