Hi with Anemone Flowers

Hello crafty friends! It’s TaeEun here today sharing a greeting card embellished with anemone flowers!

I used the Trio Anemone Cluster Layering dies to Create the layered anemone flowers. These cluster dies cut three flowers together. So for three layers of three flowers you need to die cut only three times 🙂 !

I cut the trio twice from some watercolor paper to get six anemone flowers. I then watercolored the first and the second layer in yellow, orange and pink while making the second layer darker. The outline layers were cut from some white cardstock. I assembled all six flowers and set them aside.

To add the coordinating colors to the background I ink blended the border of a white cardbase in Lemon Drop, Coralline hybrid and Soft Garnet. The white frame was cut using the Double Pierced Oval Nested Dies and foam mounted on the cardbase.

Next I cut the letter “HI” using the Tall and Skinny Alpha Coverplate die three times from white cardstock and colored one of them in orange, yellow and pink Copic markers.  I stacked the letters together and added it to the card.

The white leaves were cut using the Leafy Bits Coverplate die from some white cardstock. I added some of the leaves on the cardbase and arranged the anemone flowers using foam tape as shown in the picture. I cut off the excessive part of the flowers except for the anemones on the top of the card. To finish off I scattered some sequins from Lemon Chiffon Sequins.
