BACK IN STOCK ANNOUNCEMENT

We have brought back our Power Pumps Coordinating Dies! This has been very popular so we decided to restock them.

We have also restocked the following dies:

Let’s introduce our new dies! First up is our Tall and Skinny Alphas Coverplate Dies.

Tall and Skinny Alphas Coverplate Dies

Our newest coverplate alpha dies feature a tall, skinny and modern font. What’s different about these coverplate dies is that I separated the vowels (and Ys), most used consonants and the least used consonants (QVWXZ). These die cut letters measure approximately .5 x 2.25 inches – the width will vary slightly depending on the letter.

You can cut these letters out on different colored cardstock and store them in envelopes or clear pouches for future use.

I started off by blending inks (Lemon Drop, Peach Blossom, Hollywood Star Dye Inks) onto an A2 panel. Next I adhered a rectangular skinny frame created using our A2 skinny frames coverplate die. Then I die cut the happy using our new Tall and Skinny Alphas Coverplate Dies on white cardstock and adhered the letters in the center of the blended panel. Lastly I added the scripty birthday sentiment created using our Many Sentiments dies.

Here’s a travelers notebook layout that I created (of my little boo bear) using our new Tall and Skinny Alphas. Other products: Butterfly Layering Dies, Quick Labels Stamp and Die, Leafy Bits Die, Peony Memories stamp and die.

Next up is our Trio Anemone Layering Cluster Dies.

Trio Anemone Layering Cluster Dies

This collection features 3 dies that cut out a total of 9 pieces. Each anemone has two lower “body” layers and the top outline layer. What’s unique about these dies is that they’re clustered. Similar to our patent pending grouped layering stamps, each layer is clustered so that you can cut each layer in one pass through your die cutting machine.

My design style changes each year and 2020 has really been amazing because of our patent pending grouped layering designs. I wanted to apply a similar concept to these layering dies so that we can spend less time with the mechanical aspects of crafting (the nitty gritty ) and more time creating and enjoying the art of crafting and making pretty things.

CRAFTING TIP: If you don’t have different colors for layering dies, you can die cut all the layers on white cardstock and blend ink onto those die cut layers. Use layering inks and a blending brush to attain multiple shades of color.

For this card, I die cut and layered my anemones. Next I blended some ink (Lemon Yellow, Bright Emerald, Ballet Slippers Dye Inks) onto an A2 panel and splattered white acrylic paint. I used our Double Pierced Oval Frame Coverplate die to create that oval border frame in the back. Once I popped that frame up with foam tape, I popped up the layered anemones and some additional Leafy Bits that I die cut. Lastly I added the thanks sentiment created using our Many Sentiments dies.

When you layer the 2 lower body layers of these anemones, you can use them under the floral outlines in our Gathered Anemone Coverplate Die.

Gathered Anemone Coverplate Die

This single coverplate die features a gorgeous anemone design. You can back the coverplate die cut with any colored cardstock or glitter cardstock to create a quick card. If you want to take it a step further, you can use the coordinating Trio Anemone Layering Cluster Dies and back the floral portions of the panel.

How gorgeous are these layers? The final assembled hibiscus measures approximately 6 x 4.75 inches at its widest points. So it’s pretty large and covers an A2 panel to become a beautiful focal point. All you need is a simple sentiment to complete your card if you’re looking to make a quick card.
