Layered Peony and Foliage Border cards

Hello, friends! It’s Anna today with you and I’m sharing a couple cards I made using new layering dies.

The firs card features Foliage Border Coverplate Die.

I started by ink blending Soft Garden, Bright Fern and Everglade Moss (my fav combo) on a piece of white cardstock. Then, I cut out the Foliage Border. For the background, I ink blended Everglade Moss on a A2 sized card panel (it was cut out with Double Pierced Rectangle A2 Nested Dies).

To create two square frames, I use Square Frames Slim Borders Coverplate Die. One of them was heat embossed in Glitter Gold. “Best Wishes” was cut out from light blue cardstock (the first layer) and from vellum and white cardstock (two second layers))) using Many Sentiments dies.

I adhered all elements on the cardbase and added a few Dew Drops from 1. Dew Drop Clear Enamel Dots to finish it up.

Another card is showcasing really fab Lovely Peony Layering Dies.

To create that large flower, I didn’t use color cardstock. I ink blended Soft Orchid, Orchid Crush, Grand Fuchsia (for flower) and green combo (that I mentioned earlier) to cut out peony layers. To create the background, I ink blended Soft Amethyst on a cardbase, stamped Delicate Polka Dots Cling Backgroundonto it and heat embossed in White.

I added white round frame that was made with Double Pierced Circle Coverplate Die to my card and foam mounted the peony on it. The sentiment from Easy Expressions Birthday was stamped in Noir and Beach Blondie and cut out with Easy Expressions Birthday Coordinating Die.

That’all from me today. Thank you for stopping by! Have a great day!

Anna
