Framed Butterflies

Hi peeps ! It’s Vera here today showcasing a couple of The Ton dies from our June 2020 Release.

For my 1st card card I used the gorgeous Swallowtail Butterfly Coverplate dies.

I am in love with The Ton butterflies collection. They’re so pretty & always get me excited to create with them. For this one, I used various alcohol ink on yupo paper to create the soft colorful background. Next, I die cut the butterfly frame and adhere directly on top of the yupo paper. Trim and adhere to card base.

For the sentiment, I die cut the word you using Skinny Alphas Coverplate dies. Then I stamped the word inspire me from Layered Spring Alpha Bundle. And… since I love sparkle, I covered the whole butterfly frame with shimmer marker.

Next, I played with the Monarch Butterfly Coverplate dies.

Pretty much, I repeat the same process as the 1st card. Except on this one I used glitter paper and then I made a booboo when I trimmed the edges, thus the reason I ended up cutting out all the edges or the frame part. I layered the butterfly panel with white cardstock so I can have white border all around instead and then adhere the layered panel to the card base.

Again for the sentiment I used the Skinny Alphas Coverplate dies to do the word hugs. I have to say this alpha dies quickly become a favorite. I just love the modern look of it. The stamped sentiment is from Peony Memories Cardmaking set.

There you go, two butterflies card with same process but different look. Hope you enjoy today’s inspirations. Well peeps, that’s all from me today. Thank you for stopping by here. Have an awesome day. Cheers….
