Sending Big Hugs – Morning Glory Cheer

Hello, friends!! I hope you had a great weekend!!

I’m sending hugs with a bright, cheerful card today!! These Grouped Layering Stamp Sets make stamping lots of images so quick and easy and I just can’t get enough of them!!

I began by stamping the images in the Morning Glory Cheer Stamp Set with Cali Blue, Azurite and Violet Fringe Inks, then cut them out with the Coordinating Dies. (I added some yellow to the centers of my morning glories with Copic markers.) The Bountiful Leaves were stamped with the Crystal Garden Collection and cut with the Coordinating Dies. I also stamped Floral Bits with the Ruby Collection and cut those out with their Coordinating Dies.

For the background, I white heat embossed the Modern Plaid Background Stamp onto Bristol smooth cardstock and ink blended Lemon Drop Ink onto it. I die-cut the panel with one of the Rectangle A2 Nested Dies and adhered it to a white top-folding note card. I also added a white frame cut using the Rectangle A2 Frames Slim Borders Coverplate Die.

I arranged all of the die-cuts and adhered them to the left-hand side of the card, trimming off the excess. I stamped the sentiments in Easy Expressions with Azurite and Red Sangria Inks, cut them out with their Coordinating Dies and added one with foam tape.
