Beautiful Roses

Hello, crafty friends!! My thoughts are with you at the confusing and difficult time!! I hope that you are staying safe and healthy!!

I have two cards to share with you today using two stunning rose stamp sets from the latest release!! Let’s get started!!

My first card features the beautiful Wild Rose Close Up stamp. This is a large 6 x 6 rose and so much fun to color!! I simply gold heat embossed the Wild Rose Close Up stamp onto Bristol smooth cardstock and watercolored it with Karin Brushmarker Pro markers.

I trimmed it down slightly and adhered it to a 5 1/2″ x 5 1/2″ cardbase. The sentiment, from Story Rose, was gold heat embossed onto a strip of navy blue cardstock and popped up with foam adhesive.

My second card showcases the Story Rose stamp set.

I stamped it onto the lower right corner of white cardstock with Vanilla Frosted Cupcake ink and did some no-line coloring with Copics and colored pencils.

I stamped the Minor Stripes Cling Background stamp onto white cardstock with Noir Ink, cut a strip and adhered it at the top of an A2 cardbase. I trimmed my colored panel slightly and adhered it over the striped strip.

The sentiment, from Lovely Lily, was stamped with Noir Ink and clear heat embossed. A sprinkling of Glass Slippers Sequins completes the card!!

That’ll do it for me today!! Wishing you a wonderful week ahead and please stay safe!!!

Brenda
