Blue Peonies

Hello, friends!! I hope you had a great weekend!! We are enjoying the Spring temperatures here!! Although rain is in the forecast for the majority of this week, at least it seems as if the frigid temperatures are behind us…yay!!

I have three cards to share today!! They all use the Peony Memories Cardmaking Stamps and Coordinating Dies, along with sentiments from the 2d. Ed. Fill It In Sentiments. My pink and purple ink pads get plenty of love with florals, but my blues were feeling neglected…ha. So I pulled out three different blue collections and got busy!!

First, I used the Blues Collection…

This collection includes Blue Diamond, Cobalt Breeze and Parisian Blue. I stamped the peonies from the Peonies Memories Cardmaking stamp set with these blues and the leaves with the Crystal Garden Collection. The centers of the flowers were stamped with Beach Blondie and Amber Citrine. Once all of the stamping was done, the Coordinating Dies were used to cut out all of the images.

I selected a cardstock to match the lightest blue ink, then cut it and a piece of white cardstock with the Double Stitched Rectangle Dies (Large). The “YOU”, from 2d. Ed. Fill It In Sentiments, was stamped in the darkest ink and the smaller words in the middle color. The white panel was splattered with diluted inks in the lightest and medium colors of ink. The peonies were arranged and popped up with foam tape.
