Hello and happy Monday everyone! It’s TaeEun here today sharing a card trio in the same layout. It has started with one card design idea, then it turned into a card duo in my mind, but while I was making the cards, I decided to add one more 🙂 ! You’ll understand the way of my thought, if you look at the cards 😀 .
The main idea of the design is to split the panel in two by a large sentiment die cut. I used Brushed Love die to achieve the design, as the Valentine’s day is coming ❤ ! I wanted a floral background with smaller flowers, so I chose Folk Art Florals cling stamp. I white heat embossed it on a Canson watercolor paper panel and loosely colored it using Color Burst in Cerulean Blue, Peony and Orchid. I added a bit of color to the flowers for more definition. After the panel was dry, I cut it using Brushed Love die. Actually I wanted to switch the bottom part with a white panel but the sentiment was camouflaging too much. So I decided to make another panel to combine with the floral element. I ink blended an A2 sized Neenah solar white paper panel in Soft Garnet, Plum Wine and Azurite and adhered transparent glitter foil on it. I cut the panel in the same way like the floral panel using Brushed Love die. I made one more panel in white, also cut with Brushed Love die.
Now it’s time to assemble the cards. I mixed up the three elements to get three different designs. For the small sentiment part I used Brushed Love stamp set.
For the first one I foam mounted the top part of the floral panel and the glitter sentiment die cut on a white cardbase. The sentiment was stamped in an ombre fashion using Plum Wine , Azurite and Deep Sapphire. I added a thin strip of transparent glitter paper on the bottom. Some Glass Slippers round confetti were scattered and the card was finished.
The second one has the top part of the glitter panel, white sentiment die cut and the bottom part of the floral panel. I cut the Brushed Love from pink fun foam and raised the sentiment die cut using it. The sentiment was white heat embossed on a strip of purple cardstock. I added three clear dew drops to finish off the card.
On the last one I adhered the glittery bottom part flat on a white cardbase and raised the floral sentiment die cut on a white fun foam. I added white heat embossed “sending” and three clear dew drops to the card.
That’s it from me today! It was a card design which is relatively quick and easy to make. I hope I was able to inspire you with my cards!
Have a wonderful and crafty week, friends!!!
Hugs,
TaeEun
