Hi peeps! Happy New Year. Hope you starts off 2020 beautifully. I started mine with getting a cold. Booo…., right?! I rarely get sick, but this cold really caught me and 10 days later I am still trying to get rid of my cough. Not fun…
Anyhooo, cough or no cough, luckily I am still okay with crafting. Yay… Thank goodness. I was lethargic for a couple days, but forcing myself to stay active after those 2 days of rest. For today, I made this card using an oldie but goodie set, the beautiful Smiling Cosmos set.
It’s been a while since I last play with this set. I started by stamping the image and then colored it Copic markers.
Once I am done with coloring, I adhere the colored panel to the card base. Then, I trim a thin and thick panel of white cardstock and layer it on top of the colored image. Cut a strip of stripe patterned paper and adhere it to the card.
I finished the card by stamping sentiment from Dearest Peony set. Seriously, this set has some of my favorite sentiment to use. I just think they’re so well done. And, of course, I had to adhere some mixed size dew drops. Favorite embellishment!
Looks like this color combo is one of my go to color combo. I just realized that I have used this color quite often. Do you have a go to color that you use often without even realizing it?
Well peeps, that’s all from me today. Hope you enjoy today’s card. May your weekend be a good one & all the best for 2020. Cheers….
Vera, this is beautiful! I love the coloring and how you put this card together. Thanks for sharing.
I’ll be praying for you to be on your way to a full recovery.

Gorgeous card, Vera. I’m coughing, too. Texas weather is crazy and so are the allergies. Mountain Cedar is kicking everyone’s butt this year. I hope you feel better soon. your friend in San Antonio, Texas……Coughing Marisela ha-ha
