Hello, fellow card makers!! I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and are preparing to ring in the New Year!!
I usually long for floral images and brighter colors once the holidays are over, and this year was no exception!! I pulled out the stunning Amazing Gardenia stamp set and my watercolor markers and went to work!!
I white heat embossed the Amazing Gardenia image onto Bristol Smooth paper, colored it with Zig Clean Color Markers and cut it out with the Coordinating Die. I cut the background panel with the largest of the Double Stitched Rectangle Dies (Lg) from light blue cardstock and splattered it with diluted gouache.
I die-cut “beautiful” from the background panel using the Bold General Greeting Word Plate Dies and backed it with orange cardstock. The gardenia die-cut was adhered onto the upper, left corner of the background panel, trimming off the pieces that hung off the edges. The Hello Word Die was used to cut “hello” once from orange cardstock and twice from white cardstock. They were stacked and adhered together for dimension. I added a few sequins from the Rose Champagne Sparkle Couture Mix for the finishing touch!!
Thank you for stopping by today!! Wishing you a new year filled with good health, love, happiness & prosperity!!
