Hi here lovely peeps. Vera here.
I know that I need to build up my Christmas card stash and I need to get busy doing that, however I can’t help it & find myself still playing with the the everyday flower set. After all you can’t have too many just because cards, right?
For today, I play with this pretty Peony Dreams Cluster set.
To start, I stamped and heat embossed the flower with The Ton Rose Gold embossing powder on a piece of watercolor cardstock and then watercolor it. I really love this color combination. In my book you can’t go wrong with blue, aqua and green combo. A dash of pink help brighten the whole scheme.
I am impatient, so I used my heat gun to speed up the drying time. Once that done, I die cut the sentiment using Love and Hugs Word Plate dies set. I layered the sentiment 3 times to make it stand out a bit more.
For the top layer of the word hugs I die cut it from Gold Adhesive Foil Paper. Love the extra shine it adds to the card. For finishing touch I added my favorite embellishment the mixed size dew drops.
I enjoy the process of making this card and I hope you enjoy today’s inspiration from The Ton. Thank you for stopping by here and may your Friday be a good one. Here’s to a fab weekend, peeps. Cheers….
So very beautiful!!
