Hello, everyone! It’s Anna here again. But today I would like to share with you a holiday card in non-traditional Christmas colors.
I started by stamping beautiful poinsettias and winterberries from Loose Poinsettias stamp set onto a watercolor paper and colored them with Holbein watercolors. Then, I fussy cut them all.
Next, I splatted the card panel with left-over paint and stamped sentiment in Noir.
I adhered all images on the card panel and added a few sequins from Cotton Candy Puff Couture Mix to finish it up.
Thank you so much for stopping by! Have a great Monday, friends!

though i think this is a lovely card, the water coloring is very well done and overall
i like it. except for the berries. i guess its because i worked in the flower world for so long,
yellow holly berries just don’t fit. in real life, they start out darker green, lighten up as they grow and then turn red. changing some things is not a good idea. if they could not have been close to the real color because you wanted pink poinsettias, maybe going w a dif type filler would have worked better like some kind of evergreen…
but… that is just a quirk of mine. 🙂
the card itself is beautiful.

Pink poinsettias were my mother’s favorite and became mine too! A beautiful card. Amazing fussy-cutting!

…And how nice that when we create, we can make things the colors we like, because we are …creating!
